Absolutely gorgeous car , well done , I had a 75 red and black camaro , me and my dad built the car in 6 months , man was it fast !!

with the exception of the white-face under dash gauges he nailed the look with the 70s speed parts. just as some young guy would have done with his new camaro. hope he installed subframe connetors with that healthy big block.
A recreation of how this car might have looked in the early 80s? I would have continued the theme with the engine ie gold toned valve covers and air cleaner (Moroso brand of course). And the large wing nuts for the hold downs.

moroso needs to bring that gold anodized stuff back.

Spectacular car! I took 9 years to build a rust free 79z. Got it done, and quickly got bored. Was not comparable to yours.

Excellent job, put one of those after market hoods on mine and could not get it to fit right either with out extensive modifications so I reinstalled the stock hood.

do u know how many camaros were built with certain options in 79 . i have a 79 z28 rs t top with rear window louvers, full spoiler kit, power window with locks, 4 speed, speed control,wiper delay, ac, . its my next project not sure yet if i want to restore it or mod it all depends on if it is rare or not plus it has the real gills not stickers like most 79 z28 rs cars have
ps plus it has the z28 suspension package with rs interior
I had a 1980 Berlinetta with a V6 blown and put 400 small block in four-speed transmission clutch 373 gears traction bars it was right at the point where a couple thousand more dollars in motor work maybe the heads and some suspension work and it would have been a monster but life happens women get pregnant and then you get married have kids and then all that kid should end up getting put aside until later and then you never end up getting back to it some people do if they're lucky
