    amazing, informed video! you could see the results from just doing the left side with Bo Jin and Gua Sha techniques! once the 60secs was up, you looked directly into camera and you could absolutely see your left cheek was smooth, supple and blumper compared to the unfinished cheek. so glad i found your channel. your presence and delivery are what drew me in more than anything. plus, your culturally practised specific directions/instructions and reasons WHY they are the correct cultural technique and how to correct was all brilliant and IS needed since Gua Sha took hold. great reminder that sometimes people who become idolized arent perfect, make mistakes and are even misinformed.
    thank you kindly for your time❤

    I have very reactive skin that's prone to rosacea, and I was wondering if gua sha and the other tool are appropriate for me. When you have a chance, can you please let me know? Thanks very much.

    • @Lanshin
      @Lanshin  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes, you can do Gua Sha if you have rosacea. Use only gentle pressure and slow strokes on active areas. (For non- active areas, you can use a normal amount of pressure.) Your skin may get red, which is okay, but if it feels irritated, we would pause on the Gua Sha. If you have severe rosacea and/or pustules, consult a practitioner first.

    Okay, now I've found your video, 😊😊 so I still have a few questions. As I understand it, I do BOjin first and Thema GuaSha . (I don't have to stimulate the lymph before either of them, but I open my neck for a minute with movements like in your video - right ? ) my questions : WHY do I have to open my neck? 2. I didn't understand which steps I do ONLY with your BoJin tool and which I do THEN only with GuaSha, because you showed how to do BOJIN technique ALSO with the Gua sha tool - I am now confused hahaha - 3. how long do I do each treatment ? How many minutes? And do I do it every day. Is it too much or is it perfect once a day?
    day? Morning or evening 5. is your online course with the possibility of German subtitles because my English is not good enough :( and last question : where can I find tutorials where I can make my upper eyelids disappear and do you also have a video for cellulite ?

    • @Lanshin
      @Lanshin  4 месяца назад +2

      We like to start with the neck because opening circulation in the neck helps the circulation in the face move better.
      Bo Jin and Gua Sha are two different techniques that complement each other. Both stimulate the flow and circulation of blood and Qi, but using different types of strokes. The Bo Jin gets deeper into the muscle layers, while Gua Sha strokes are more soothing and smoothing. We like to "disturb the soil" with Bo Jin first, then do the smoothing soothing Gua Sha strokes.
      We recommend doing Gua Sha at least 3 times a week to see visible results, but once or twice a day is also a great place to start. If you’re looking to see big changes in your face, you can try doing 30-40 minutes of Gua Sha daily for 2-4 weeks, then dropping the duration and frequency to be in a maintenance phase.
      We are looking into subtitles in other languages but for now we only have them available in English.
      We just made some classes on working the eye area! Currently we don’t have anything on cellulite.

    • @Travelling4fun
      @Travelling4fun 4 месяца назад

      @@Lanshin It's so great that you're taking the time to answer these questions for me. Not only do I want to practice this treatment and buy your products, but I want to understand how it works. Thank you so much. I hope that you will soon find a tool where you can switch the subtitles in different languages. I have a colleague who has done this and I have to ask her which tool it is, because I really struggle and work with translators and therefore English subtitles would also be a problem for me 🌹🌹🌹🌹

    • @Indicolite2000

      I watched a similar comment one another video, there she said that if the oil doesn't feel too much like it would break you out or cause problem and you use it as a moisturizer, you can choose not to wash and it's okay....but if you choose to wash it you can also do that (imo, the important thing is to keep your skin moisturised whether you wash the oil or not)

  • @Indicolite2000
    @Indicolite2000 3 месяца назад

    Amazing video❤.... I have questions though, some gua shua come with roller too...can i use the roller before or after using gua shua or is it harmful or affect the results? Can i alternate the days between using gua shua and roller? And i use fresh alovera gel as lubricant bcz oils break me out, is this fine?

    • @Lanshin
      @Lanshin  3 месяца назад +1

      We tend to prefer using Gua Sha tools instead of rollers to get clinical results. If that works for your skin, then great, but we would probably advise either finding an oil that's good for acneic skin (like sea berry, black seed, etc) or doing Gua Sha instead during your balm/oil cleansing step

      Oh no😮 maybe you're actually doing it right and it's a kind of skin purge. It happens with some skin creams and the rule is to keep on doing the same until the acne goes away. If you can, go to a tcm practioner, maybe you have other parts of your body to unblock. ❤
      I've just googled "breakout after gua sha", there are a lot of interesting information. Looks like you might be doing right. ❤

    • @Lanshin
      @Lanshin  7 месяцев назад

      I'm literally working on this video explaining why and what this happens! And
      @chocolatefudge5263 is absolutely on the right track here. If the breakouts you get post Gua Sha are small, come to whiteheads quickly, and heal quickly then they are likely a healing response (aka "purge") and you can try continuing to see if it reduces. If the breakouts are more cystic, painful and stagnant post Gua Sha, then my next video should help clear up what's happening and what to do.

    • @allyamv
      @allyamv 7 месяцев назад

      @@chocolatefudge5263 Ah, that makes a lot of sense that it would be a purge. I thought that my skin was just being weirdly sensitive but this gives me a bit of hope :D Thanks for the comment!

    Why do you hold your fingers to your face to hold the skin during gua sha or bojin? What is the advantage ?

    • @Lanshin
      @Lanshin  3 месяца назад +1

      This is called an anchor hand, it is useful to help stabilize the skin (and quite literally anchor it) while you stroke away from that point.

    Can I use castor oil as the face oil?

    • @Lanshin
      @Lanshin  20 дней назад

      Depends on your skin, some with more acneic skin may find it too thick/oily. We like to add a drop of black castor to whatever face oil we are using!

    Hi! how often per week can we do this practice?

    • @Lanshin
      @Lanshin  7 месяцев назад +1

      As a general average 5-10 minutes of gentle face gua sha is ok daily for most people with neutral skin (no inflammatory disorders). 2-3x a week is good for longer sessions of 20 minutes or longer. Keep in mind I'm referring to how often you can use the Gua Sha that I teach here, not what others do online (ie using iced/frozen tools, or too aggressive technique, etc.)

    Everything breaks me out. I have had a hard time finding an oil that I can use with these techniques. Any advice? Watermelon, jojoba, rosehip, sweet almond all break me out.

      My face actually does that too... so I use alovera gel (a lot of natural aloevera from the leaf), but you can use store bought too

      Check out Masa Kanai in the Upper West side for their Head Spa services. Ritsuko Borges is the Queen of Head Spa! You can also look for Japanese or Asian hair salons - they may not use scalp Gua Sha but many will add on scalp massage services. In LA Blow Me Away Salon also has amazing Head spa headed up by Arissa and Sayaka the West Coast Queens!
