the video quality is better then 2020 matches
Not better but same.
@@jk9111 it is better
Nowadays videos don't have 60fps
@@deadbearios6403 agree haha
I also don't understand why they didn't maintain that quality.
@@jk9111 nope it's not the same back then was way better now the view stinks cuz it's from the side and not behind the players which is much better
1:55 that's amazing.
a great top spin return after a spinny chop from maze is really remarkable.👏👏
surprise me.
That eye contact CHOLE from Wang Liqin... So intense!
It was common back then Wang Hao was the worse.
@@reinaldopessoa2603 trying to intimidate the opponent
@@saimtime Absolutely!!
I can't believe that the quality of the matches didn't changed for 14 years!! It's time for some new cameras ITTF..
Why do I like that tennis much better than modern one?
I miss seeing the ball arc like celluloid. XU XIN the only one right now that makes plastic look like celluloid
Mon Albert the ball still arcs when the top players hit wdym?
Zrr hey, maybe not as nice as celluloid. Celluloid almost floats
Please upload Maze v/s Waldner from the same tournament!
البطل الصيني وانگ كان من أفضل اللاعبين بهذه الفترة بعد ما انسحب قبل 4 سنوات من اللعب
wlq style looks so fun
♥️incredalbe match.
wang always scores point after a powerful shot return.
it's near 95%.
The reason why he loses the point is blocking 😂
Maze looks much better with this hair style and no beard
5:25
Maze footwork seems so poor
man WLq serve is so illegal.
That is not true, nothing is blocking the ball when it hits his paddle.
so is mazes lol. Plus you can't blame them, they came from a time when the rule was not in affect yet so its partial force of habbit aswell. But anyway you can't even tell cause your watching from an angle not directly infront of them so how do you even know.
@@user-xf3gs8lm8w If we cant know which serve is illegal how come you say "so is maze's"?
@@reinaldopessoa2603 according to service rules (2.06.04) nothing should block the ball from the start of the service until it is struck. www.allabouttabletennis.com/official-table-tennis-rules.html
kara kalpak cause from the camera angle, there are definitely points where he hides the ball. But I wouldn’t accuse him of this because how am I supposed to tell from the camera angle from a match 14 years ago. Plus even if the serves are illegal on any side, the biggest at fault is the umpire for not calling it. Sometimes I just don’t know if my serve is illegal until someone says something.
Maze became discouraged during the 3rd set.
Something seemed off with his footwork
He had the worst footwork of any pro player.
OH it was in 3 sets ? I don't remember that ^^

This is Team Championships so it's in 3 sets but in simple, it's in 4.
