For those inmates who didn't have a good amount of commissary in their cell it must have been hell for those 59 days during that hunger strike. If u didn't have enough commissary or u ran out well u were out of luck cuz u better not even think about taking a grain of rice off ur breakfast/lunch/dinner tray or else u were going to get stabbed by ur own people as soon as ur door popped and u best believe ur celly would be the one who would let the shotcaller know u took food off ur tray. They needed everyone to participate in order for it to work and it did. A 2 month hunger strike is crazy but its either u deal with the hunger or give up ur life, u decide.
