Pie Jesu

Performed by Cathy-Jane Mintoor and Terry-Ann Julies with the Salem Moravian Concert Band at a Memorial Concert on 30 April 2017. The concert was to commemorate all players who had passed on, and the date was chosen to co-incide with the passing of a former band leader, James Robert Hitzeroth on 28 April 1987. The piece was specially transcribed for the concert, for a small mixed ensemble by his grandson Alex Hitzeroth. Cathy-Jane is the granddaughter of another deceased player Henry Alexander Hitzeroth.
