Yes, I do remember about the tsunami rushing over the land in three countries, Thailand, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka. Saw the news on TV and my heart sunk down on the floor about these people on the lands were really helplessness and panicked running for their lives. It was unfortunately sad. Now it had been 20 years. Amazing! Petra Nemcova, Czech model, television and philanthropist was injury after the water rushed suddenly. She held on the tree or pole for eight hours, heard these people and children screaming helplessly and panickedly Her photographer/finance was gone dead. 🤷♂️ Never found his body I guessed. Her hip was crushed by something, could not be able to walk or move. The people gave her clothes to cover her naked body and helped her to hospital. Recently I saw on the TV, she flew back to the place where she was there before, and reminisced the place she was there and told the stories. She was alive and married and had son happily. 20 years was long way to heal, rebuild the communities back normally and peacefully.
