Gotta be hard for these blokes, it's not easy operating in the Australian Top End. The MRF conduct their deployment in the dry season (winter). The Wet season is so much harder, with 90% humidity, and monsoonal rains where vehicles struggle to move. Good on the US Marines!
These young Americans joined up to serve,probably serve far away so join the USMC.The northern territory is about as far away as they could go.Southern hemisphere deployment is a feature for marines.They are welcome here and fit in quite well cuturally.
