I LOVE how when she does her first release to the high bar, she doesn't swing back and then kip up. She just pulls up and keeps going without it. I just love that it's so much cleaner and nicer.
Tim: I don't know why she didn't hold on to the bar. Well Tim, it looks to me like her dowels (a small wooden rod in a grip), didn't catch the bar correctly. Yes, her fingers and palms look like they are around the bar correctly, but if that dowel isn't catching between your first and second knuckles on your fingers; aka in the correct position, it's very VERY difficult to hold on without slipping or peeling off the bar. Better to fall than to continue when you could get hurt worse.
Those annocers really need to know that everyone makes mistakes, and everyone saw her do a couple. He does not need to pernounce it every time she retries.
Big Timmy they are just doing their jobs chill out 😂 their job is to tell the viewers what is going on people maybe watching that don’t know a lot about gymnastics or nothing at all they just enjoy watching they are just doing their jobs lay off 🤷🏻♀️
@Zeplyn Giles You do realize Tim Daggett has an Olympic team gold and bronze on Pommel Horse and received a Perfect 10 on high bar? Lol he is capable of doing what she can.
I was just saying it must suck doing something so well but still hearing people talk about your one mistake from last year. But that's also the downside to being sensitive about everything. You can't be in this situation and she doesn't need other people getting offended for her.
Everyone makes mistakes! She's amazing even when she messes up! I'd be scared to even swing over the bar once and yet she does it like 16 times!! Amazing! :)
It must really suck to do that good on something and then hear people still talk about the one mess up you had last year. Hopefully they don't hear that while they are in the moment.
This makes me believe that I can do anything in gymnastics but I couldn't go to the school but I am trying self taught and it's working and I'm trying to get bars for Christmas and my Parents let me but Ima keep working hard for my success
+Kirsten Hill She had that huge error at 1:27, which got her the biggest deduction because she wasn't in handstand and she separated her feet, which probably cost her around .8 to a full point depending on how they judged it. To me, she probably lost deductions on her weiler kips for being labored and muscled, her full pirouette was late when finished, and her tkatchev was pretty flat. Compared to other bar routines Jordyn has done, this wasn't her greatest.
Don't get me wrong , Jordyn was a very talented and amazing athlete but she was super overrated and should not have been as popular as she was. her gymnastics was often very sloppy compared to her teammates and she had a very boujee, superior attitude I feel because of all the titles she won prior to the Olympics. Call me a bitch , I don't care but I was kind of a little happy to see her knocked out of the AA in 2012, I hope that humbled her a bit and made her realize that popularity doesn't matter in gymnastics. all that matters is your actual gymnastic skills.
Jazmyn Simmons I 100% agree with you that she was overrated as a gymnast, but she is clearly very humble now, basically retiring to just be UCLA's team manager. I think that took a lot of character. I like Jordyn the person, just not really Jordyn the gymnast.
She was amazing I'll give her that, but I don't think I've ever seen her win an international level title without some huge error. She won her 2011 title with her terrible bars routine and stepping out of the floor. She won this event with that mistake on bars. Her gymnastics was honestly nothing to write home about. All-around, she was a fine gymnast. Her vault, beam, and floor difficulty easily made her in 1st place, but when it came down to individual event finals, she was never able to get far in them (Only one she got was the bronze on beam in 2011 and floor gold at the Pacific Rim Championships in 2012). I think had she continued, Simone would've easily crushed Jordyn at every all-around competition to be honest.
That save was incredible! And her double layout here is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
Ikr one of my favorite things to do and see on bar
2:01 IKR! Jordyn Wieber is a beast!!😍😍❤️
I LOVE how when she does her first release to the high bar, she doesn't swing back and then kip up. She just pulls up and keeps going without it. I just love that it's so much cleaner and nicer.
THE BEST DOUBLE LAYOUT I'VE EVER SEEN
Jordyn Weiber. Literal queen of double layouts.
100%! I hate that dismount but that was the straightest and least arched I have ever seen! 👏🏻
I love that the first thing her coach said was what an amazing save she made.
Way to not make her feel worse than she already did.
👏🏽 👏🏽 💙
This girl is incredible in so many ways

Yeah herr grips weren’t right the dowel wasn’t kber
I dont think she purposely fell bc she thought she would get hurt tho lmao
Love how she utilizes fornt hip circles. I love her bar routines.

Niamh.O’connor
That is so cool
The judges saw more mistakes than the announcers pointed out . Being in Olympian means u don’t my crucial mistakes

What an amazing SAVE and “Fight” on this bar routine by Jordan Wieber!! Incredible!!!
It was an amazing save, I love her outfit, and I'm worshiping her biceps. 🥰
2:06 I’ve always had a crush on Jordyn Weiber
goddess like perfection💯🔥
SHE'S TALENTED SHE SLAYSSS 💅❤😙😃🙁😟😣💅💔❤❤❤❤💅💅💅💅💅✨✨✨✨💅💅💅💅💅💅💅
she's my favorite gymnast
2:05 Her save on the uneven bars was awesome! Jordyn Weiber is a beast!😍😍❤️ #WifeGoals
She rocks on bars! Loved it!
Everyone makes mistakes! She's amazing even when she messes up! I'd be scared to even swing over the bar once and yet she does it like 16 times!! Amazing! :)
The commentators talking garbage about Jordan Weiber until they see the scores, Jordan is world class! That's all there is to it
she is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love nastia! She looks so fabulous in this
We all have mistakes you don’t need to point them out.
She's an amazing beauty at this American Cup on this routine (UB). Plus that was excellent.
it is so strange..you know, when you see this video, comes out the power of her body.but then, you hear her voice,so sweet :D ...
A literal icon :)
I love her double layout dismount
I love love gymnastics
Camille Flynn yeah same
Good for her for that save. As someone who doesn't do gymnastics that arch looked intentional because it looked beautiful in itself
Amazing!!😍
I still can't believe she saved that! But i'm very glad she did
Woah. That was... SPECTACULAR 👏
I have two granddaughters and one named Abby she loves Shawn Johnson.
Brilliant outstanding 👍
Performance dear
Omg amazing
great landing
Same here
She retired to soon
Not in my opinion. She reached her peak in 2009 and steadily got worse and worse leading to 2012.
+Sean Radagast She most definitely did not peak in 2009. Her peak was 2011. She was much better 2011 than 2009.
I've met her coach before cause of region 5 camps
Your my role model
*You're
Who else had there feet and hands tingle when she dropped in the beginning
*their
Good work Jordan
Her Tkachev looks as if she drops from the air to the bar, not fly over the bar.
Nastia looks so good here *_*
i want to be like you guys am just 10 and i just love it so mabey i will try out
I am too, I have loved gymnastics for such a long time
It must really suck to do that good on something and then hear people still talk about the one mess up you had last year. Hopefully they don't hear that while they are in the moment.
that’ll raise a few eyebrows !
This makes me believe that I can do anything in gymnastics but I couldn't go to the school but I am trying self taught and it's working and I'm trying to get bars for Christmas and my Parents let me but Ima keep working hard for my success
a estado muí bien
Wow I wanna be like her when I grow up
I think Elfi jinxed her!
except for when Jordyn won Worlds AA in 2011?
I know her best friend!! :D
Jayne?
D score?
What were you saying Elfie ? XD
How can you get points deducted?! She rocked it. In my opinion it looked pretty dang good
Kirsten Hill She had a HUGE error @ 1:27

Why did she get rid of the double twisting double dismount ?
umm... there is no nastia in this.
her gymnastics were hideous imo, but I will never forget her floor in the team final 2012
Jackie M can you do better? Really, even if she's an Olympic athlete she's gotta make mistakes, commit some faults, and fall on her butt sometimes.
I'm a level 9 gymnast and she still makes me look really bad
I'm a champion gymnast
Izabella Veez congratulations God bless you!
jordyn weiber ijbol

Chrissy Joy I completely agree. stepping out of the international competition has definitely humbled her. college has done her well.
I agree 100%!

Jasmine Simmons how in history is she sloppy
I'm a level 7, she is so good
God I hated Jordyn on bars. Lead ball swinging around in a sock.
Aburridoooo
no offense but jordyn and aly, you will not win a all-around gold with your bars
