Artis Opus: Makes a super clean gradient on an absolute unit of a model in a ridiculously short amount of time with a very simple set of techniques. Me: Takes the same amount of time just to decide if I'm gonna paint something. I'm honestly glad that I came at the recommendation of KiriothTV, the ever-expanding list of people I go to watch has increased by one! also, considering I'm horribly fussy and constantly fret with wanting to approach painting, it's good to see the outcome of using a simple technique that gives off a great finish. Welcome Alex, thanks so much dude!
every time I watch something on this channel I am astounded.
Thank you so much for the kind words, much appreciated 🥰
Kirioth sent me this way and I have to say I'm not disappointed. I have been painting for 3 years and I cant even get a single space wolf done in 3 hours. Keep up the good work.
I'm looking forward to part 2 when it premieres.
As an aside, I'm gonna follow the trend of Kirioth and suggest some other painting/conversion creators that I have subbed to, be they massively popular or not, and make sure to watch:
- Squidmar Miniatures
- Miniac
- Goobertown Hobbies
- Lukes Aps, Geek Gaming Scenics
- Next Level Painting
- Darren Latham Miniature Painting
- Midwinter Minis
- WhatThe40k
- JuanHidalgo Miniatures

- Pete the Wargamer

All of these peeps have great resources and are definitely worth just having in your subscription list for quick access and you're stuck inside for the day, and let's be real, given the current worldwide situation, that's more than likely every day of the week :)
I used to hate nurgle but man, the way you make the details pop just looks sick (literally!)
Kirioth sent us here. And I’m so glad he did your guys work is absolutely incredible. I love it
Kirioth recommended your video and I'm glad he did. Enjoyed watching and the brush and dampening pot combo look like they work together really well.
An entertaining chap with pink hair said there was painting magic going on here and he did not lie. Just started back into painting since I stopped in 3rd edition and I hope I can get into the neighborhood of this quality someday with practice. Thanks the the inspiration.
Grandfather Nurgle is most pleased with your painting skills👍.
May his blessings be upon your channel👌
This was done so fast! One of my fav models and the color scheme almost looks like my Putrid Choir Death Guards. Tried like 5 different brushes for drybrushing, but those brushes in the videos are from another world!
Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you Kirioth for sending me this way
Great technique, simple and effective. You’ve done us proud
I've always had problems with the dry brushing. This really helps explain things.
Honestly Kirioth recommended this. And I do want to enter the competition. But I already love and watch all your videos, holding back on buying Artis opus series D because I have had horrible results with dry brushing. I love how you guys turn it around, dampening pad and texture pallette. Looks to be a game changer. And you guys look to be the only ones doing this. Keep breaking the mold guys and great work
Really enjoyed this Byron, it really looks like you’ve got more control than with an airbrush! Simply stunning work!
Kirioth brought me here, I'm New-ish to the hobby, so it's great to see these techniques in detail. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos!
Amazing, welcome, Benjamin, there's plenty more to come!
I have so much to learn!
Looks absolutely amazing and the process was something new to me.
The contrast and effectiveness of the dry brush are amazing. Love a speed painting video with being a new father. Hobby time is so limited these days. Keep up the awesome work!
That paint job is crazy smooth, definitely gonna try this!
I'm watching this video and getting inspiration for a possible new paint scheme to tie together my Dark Angels and Ad Mech armies. Whether I have the skill to pull it off, however...
Thank you Byron.
And thank you Kirioth, for pointing me in the direction of this channel in the first place.
Damn man, that is insane. paining myself again after 13 years and loving every second of it. you guys are a big inspiration to keep pushing and achieve some amazing results by practice!
Hey Artis Opus! Sent here by Kirioth, and absolutely loved this video, Puppa Nurgle will be very pleased!! I have done a very small amount of dry brushing with single colours before, but like Kirioths videos of using these brushes this is totally on another level. Love it, ill be watching many morr of these and giving it a go sometime soon!
I was amazed that kirioth recommended you. Really enjoy the work you've been putting in with the tutorials.
And this is once again an insane result thay just makes me want to keep trying new things. Looking forward what you come up with next.
Welcome aboard! That's why we do it bud :) Thanks for popping by, check out part two!
Here from KiriothTV, I’m new to the hobby and seeing stuff like this shows me how far there is to go, hope to get to this level one day!
You'd be surprised, dude, it's all about process, if you learn a few rules and stick to them and adapt as you go, you can improve incredibly fast.
Wow!
That's an incredible result for 90mins' painting!
That is insane! Getting that effect with dry brushing only. Skills.
Directed here from Kirioth's video... Never knew Artis Opus had a channel but have happily subscribed so I don't miss any more of these amazing tutorials!! 💜💜💜
Just got my dry brushes from you guys recently and been having a blast with it! I find models like this really intimidating to try painting, but this video really made me want to give it a shot.
Came from kiriothtv's video. I'm glad to see someone spreading papa plague daddy's love! Looks absolutely beautiful well done, The inquisition would be mortified!
Kirioth sent me here, good lord these brushes look amazing. Can't believe you got such an amazing finish in such a short space of time

Huuuuuuuuudge kudos! I'm just getting into the hobby and it's such a great thing to take inspiration from guys like you!
Love KiriothTv's recommendation of this channel and this amazing showcase video of drybrushing & it's effects!
Those try brushes are ruddy marvelous, the effect looks great!
Just got a great unclean one to paint for a mate and ones again, you guys were life savers!
Kirioth sent me here and damn am I glad he did. Being fairly new to the hobby I've been used to the standard GW base, shade, highlight and would have never thought to approach a miniature like this. I will definitely be following this channel with great interest!
Sick stuff, It's a really fresh approach to miniature painting
Thanks so much Diego! We do love the D ^^
Before watching Artis Opus videos I didn't realized that dry brush can do such miracles!

I have come from Kirioth as he highly recommended you.
I’m really glad he did. I’m fairly new to painting and I have learned a lot about dry brushing from this. I also love this model too.
