- We visited the GCI Laboratory in Bangkok to get an idea of what steps going into the production of a basic gemstone report.

Is their report accurate and strict as GIA?
Their reports are as strict as the GIA however they do not have as much advanced machinery as the GIA.

if it is real stone, how much is the service fee and if it is not real how much is the charge? thank you !!
Unfortunately, whether the stone is real or not, you still have to pay the full price because whether it is real or not, the lab still has to do the work 😅

How much did that report cost you? What did the report say about your stone???
Hi Bobby, you would have check with GCI for up to date pricing but at the time the report cost a very reasonable 300 baht. The report came back as expected showing natural gold sheen sapphire with no indication of heat treatment.
