Ok I have to admit when I saw the video title I was like how can u get into bts or call yourself an army and not know their older stuff? Why is a video like this even necessary? But while watching it I thought to myself this is actually a damn good compilation and also super accurate because many fans, especially newer ones don't bother to familiarise themselves with anything outside FIRE era come forward. So good job of this because it's a very educational Bangtan compilation and it reminded of certain MVS I hadn't watched in a while. My personal faves are school of tears, adult child, graduation song, just one day and the Run jpn mv especially. Spinebreaker was unexpected for me xD so I hope more ARMYs go listen to the track.

Marie I've had this exact discussion with a friend before. If you've been paying attn to the wings tour lots of fans commented that at the concerts there were fans who didn't know ANY of the older songs from the medley like NO, NMD, WAB etc. And I saw that myself too because on the livestreams you could hear the diff in the loudness of the singing/fanchants. But EVERYONE knew the words to and fanchants for Not Today, FIRE, Save Me, BST and Spring Day. And that's sad because all these songs that they ignore/don't know are what brought the boys to this point. Those are the concepts that the Bangtan we know today were born from. It blows my mind when I'm on twitter and larger fan acs mention the older songs (eg Rain, Coffee etc esp from D+W era) and you see so-called armys commenting and asking 'omg what song is this? who sung that? where is that song from?' Or if they share clips from AHL or older Bangtan Bombs and there are so many new fans that don't know what any of these things are. They've never watched them or searched for them. I've seen 90% of them say they became a fan during FIRE or BST so that's the only music they know and I don't understand how you can claim to like or "love" BTS or any other artist and not do your research on them, check out their older music and videos, learn their history and struggles from pre-debut to now. I also get that maybe not everyone has the time to do that but if you've got time to come on twitter and ask 'what's this?' or comment whenever BTS tweets then surely you can find the time to educate yourself properly about these seven amazing boys. Sorry if I preached a sermon but it really bothers me because fans don't even know RUN or INU era and INU was the start if their propulsion into fame when they got their first win. I only found out abt them in the beginning of 2015 (Jan I believe, during Begins) and I fell so hard I literally ate up everything I could find abt them on RUclips. Downloaded all the songs, watched as many Bangtan Bombs as I could and made myself knowledgeable. The only thing I regret is not knowing about them before their debut in 2013 because that's 2 years I missed out on but you can be sure I brought myself up to date. And yes there are things that I still haven't watched yet or songs that idk the lyrics too (because kor pronunciation is difficult for me) but I still feel like I've been there from the beginning or at least a key point in their lives/careers (the lead up to INU) so I'm pretty protective of them and it kind of rubs me the wrong way when all these new fans come in and only focus on the song/era that intro'd them to the boys and don't spare the time for anything else. Aaand imma shut up now lol.

Ok I have to admit when I saw the video title I was like how can u get into bts or call yourself an army and not know their older stuff? Why is a video like this even necessary? But while watching it I thought to myself this is actually a damn good compilation and also super accurate because many fans, especially newer ones don't bother to familiarise themselves with anything outside FIRE era come forward. So good job of this because it's a very educational Bangtan compilation and it reminded of certain MVS I hadn't watched in a while. My personal faves are school of tears, adult child, graduation song, just one day and the Run jpn mv especially. Spinebreaker was unexpected for me xD so I hope more ARMYs go listen to the track.

No, and another thing I've always wondered, its those "ARMY" now put songs like Bullerproof or The Album interludes or those songs that defined the concept of what Bts is if they recognize or continue to like. I would really like Bts to come back with hiphop music to see if I would still like them. Because I spend watching the surveys they do on twitter or Amino about what they liked most and always choose BS&T and it's funny because I always choose the Age, War of Hormone or Danger
Marie I've had this exact discussion with a friend before. If you've been paying attn to the wings tour lots of fans commented that at the concerts there were fans who didn't know ANY of the older songs from the medley like NO, NMD, WAB etc. And I saw that myself too because on the livestreams you could hear the diff in the loudness of the singing/fanchants. But EVERYONE knew the words to and fanchants for Not Today, FIRE, Save Me, BST and Spring Day. And that's sad because all these songs that they ignore/don't know are what brought the boys to this point. Those are the concepts that the Bangtan we know today were born from. It blows my mind when I'm on twitter and larger fan acs mention the older songs (eg Rain, Coffee etc esp from D+W era) and you see so-called armys commenting and asking 'omg what song is this? who sung that? where is that song from?' Or if they share clips from AHL or older Bangtan Bombs and there are so many new fans that don't know what any of these things are. They've never watched them or searched for them. I've seen 90% of them say they became a fan during FIRE or BST so that's the only music they know and I don't understand how you can claim to like or "love" BTS or any other artist and not do your research on them, check out their older music and videos, learn their history and struggles from pre-debut to now. I also get that maybe not everyone has the time to do that but if you've got time to come on twitter and ask 'what's this?' or comment whenever BTS tweets then surely you can find the time to educate yourself properly about these seven amazing boys. Sorry if I preached a sermon but it really bothers me because fans don't even know RUN or INU era and INU was the start if their propulsion into fame when they got their first win. I only found out abt them in the beginning of 2015 (Jan I believe, during Begins) and I fell so hard I literally ate up everything I could find abt them on RUclips. Downloaded all the songs, watched as many Bangtan Bombs as I could and made myself knowledgeable. The only thing I regret is not knowing about them before their debut in 2013 because that's 2 years I missed out on but you can be sure I brought myself up to date. And yes there are things that I still haven't watched yet or songs that idk the lyrics too (because kor pronunciation is difficult for me) but I still feel like I've been there from the beginning or at least a key point in their lives/careers (the lead up to INU) so I'm pretty protective of them and it kind of rubs me the wrong way when all these new fans come in and only focus on the song/era that intro'd them to the boys and don't spare the time for anything else. Aaand imma shut up now lol.
