    Always love your imput, you are definitely the best channel out there when it comes to deconstructing contest and explaining judging criterias to newbies and people who occasionally follow. Here's to hoping the sport gets exiting enough to rekindle your motivation to make these vidéos, and have a merry Christmas.
    And yeah, at this point I agree they should limit the entry to the 10-15 best competitors per category, the livestream is already long enough as is.

      @Henrique.Souza0601 Год назад +5

      Def agree with you bro. Classic and Men's physique were unbearable to watch live IMHO. If it's the most important show I think some kind of points system would work best and force dudes to compete more times over the year, at least twice besides the Olympia. So much could be improved... Only #1 of each division being qualified for the next, and also having pro shows as points (NY Pro and others like it being hard, would count as 2, Arnold could count as 3 and every small show counting as 1) the sport would be way better and the Olympia way shorter and more objective.

    Here's my take on the Charles Griffen vacuum question. Bodybuilding has always been an illusion, and you're judged only by what you show on stage. To that end, posing in a way that highlights your strengths and hides your weaknesses is one of the most important aspects of bodybuilding. We all know Charles has a poor midsection, but what he's showing in most of these poses is an awesome vacuum, so that's what gets judged. Nobody in that callout had a great midsection but only one person did what he needed to do to transform it into something better. In my mind he should be rewarded for that, not penalized for it. I see Charles as the clear winner of the 3rd callout. Despite losing some ground in the side shots, he dominated the front and back shots.

    I somewhat agree. But seeing the closer vids and the HD pics, I believe Charles should've placed higher. Unbelievable roundness and his quads, hams and arms were peeled. I think it was close enough through the front, that he should've won the callout just because of those extraordinary backshots. Other than the glutes, the back and hams are simply Colemanesque in that lat spread.

Patrick is huge, has good legs and also he didn't miss the mark with the conditioning (compared to himself at least). I'd say it would be interesting. Not saying Curry would get his ass whooped by someone placing 13th but hey... :)
    really liked this 3rd callout, it was still a very talented group of bodybuilders.

    Charles griffen ab and thigh is a lights out pose, statuesque, and polished head to toe. Even with god awful ab make up, im judging what hes presenting. Some peoples genetics have good abs, some have good ribcages and proportions for vaccums, all fair in my book ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ its up to the individual to choose how they pose. We dont have to judge with caveats depending on the execution, vacuum in an ab in thigh pose is totally acceptable execution... charles has the coolest midsection and torso by a mile and holds the pose. and probably some of the most crisp legs too, not slouching there. Antione easily in second IMO
