looking out on my roof last night woken up from a dream i saw a typhoon coming in close bringing the clouds down to the sea making the world look gray and alone taking all light from my view keeping everyone in and keeping me here with you around you now, i can't sleep no more baby around you still, don't want to leave yet woken up from a dream last night somewhere lost in war i couldn't feel my feet or hands i didn't feel right anymore i knew there I'd die alone with no one to reach to but an angel came down and brought me back to you i'd rather leave this world forever baby than let life go the way it's going watching an old fight film last night Ray Mancini and Duk Koo Kim the boy from Seoul was hanging on good but the pounding took to him and there…
The fuck, there should be at least four time the amount of people, some dusty, dark room and half empty bootles of wine everywhere. Shame such artists wont hardly ever get what they deserve.
I don't know, it's easy to judge this like that, but Mark Kozelek is a straight-up legend and here he's playing for some island folk, a very long way from home. And, if there was just one island kid that watched this that got moved then everything had a reason.
I love this song. Mark is a great writer but as a person he is sort of a douche, I saw him live in Chicago and he puts off this lazy pretentious person vibe. The stuff he writes now is horrible and I guess he is just having fun now by talking and playing guitar or whatever you want to call this new stuff that he does. But April and ghost of the great highway are masterpiece albums and I love how he wrote them. Admiral fell promises is pretty great as well. Sometimes people who write your favorite albums cant also be your heroes . But he wrote some very fine thoughtful albums that helped people in this journey of life.
He definitely shines in his earlier years, personally i think his strongest work was with Red House Painters, his writing and lyrics were just so powerful back then. I wish i could get a chance to see him none the less in Chicago, he is still one of my favorite musicians for sure.
there is not eonugh crowd for such talented musician, so underrated...
the people in the crowed dont understand
That feedback was killin' him but he held his composure like the pro he is...well done Mark.
After all these years, his magic never fade
I'm a huge fan of Mark his writing is incredible, please keep making awesome music!
Thank you for sharing these. I would love to see him live. Hopefully one day I will.
The album is a perfect piece of work, flawless
I love the sound of that nylon string guitar
looking out on my roof last night
woken up from a dream
i saw a typhoon coming in close
bringing the clouds down to the sea
making the world look gray and alone
taking all light from my view
keeping everyone in
and keeping me here with you
around you now, i can't sleep no more baby
around you still, don't want to leave yet
woken up from a dream last night
somewhere lost in war
i couldn't feel my feet or hands
i didn't feel right anymore
i knew there I'd die alone
with no one to reach to
but an angel came down
and brought me back to you
i'd rather leave this world forever baby
than let life go the way it's going
watching an old fight film last night
Ray Mancini and Duk Koo Kim
the boy from Seoul was hanging on good
but the pounding took to him
and there…
the feedback is working to his advantage here. sounds like someone else is playing synth in the back
It pisses me off how amazing this dude is. Like we get it bro. You’re fucking perfect. Chill

Somehow its probably better that way
This is like some corporate gig that he probably got paid a fuckload of money for
eeee this is so good
whats wrong with those people? Mark is on the front
Summer festival, and everyone's wearing a jacket. Ah Norway.
hermoso
Fantastic thanks for posting, are you planning to upload the whole set?
This crowd makes me wanna do bad things...
I´m trying to spot Fenriz in that crowd , unsuccessfully ... which, if I might say , is surprising .
Was he there
Those people have no idea what they are witnessing.
aww he lost it innis lol, timeless musician, i hope he never stops performing
People walking around like marks not even on stage.
Genius surrounded by fools.
zero dislikes!
2 months later and still zero!!! I only Mark can achieve this
2 years still none
