Sincerely appreciate all of the knowledge you’re giving your fellow branded players in order to tackle this meta!! Always giving such great advice-I’ve been watching your channel very regularly and noticed I wasn’t subbed yet so I hit that button with a quickness!
Thank you flaminkicks! I'm beyond happy to hear my guides have been such a help ❤️ appreciate the kind words and support. This Rollercoaster is only up from here.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to make this wonderful guide. I always wanted to try out Branded because I like the artwork and fusion decks in general. You get a sub from me👍
1:20:40 Little correction there, you can't send Rindbrumm off of Droll&Lock Bird with High Spirit, you have to send Grandguignol because Droll is a spellcaster not a winged beast (despite his name, confusing I know) Thank you for sharing those resources and wisdom. I have two questions for you if you don't mind : What is your opinion on Bystial/Branded Synchro, maybe using the Horus engine ? What's a good replacement for Thrust ?
I‘m currently at the side deck techs portion of the video and it’s really helpful, as I’m new to the deck! I’d like to have the flexibility to play anything between 40-60 card versions of the deck and build it differently depending on the format, but I’m not sure at which ratio and which cards one should own. I’ve build a list of cards, that I want to get. Could you tell me, whether I’m missing a card or can cut a card from the list? That would be really, really appreciated 🙈 - 3x Albaz - 3x Aluber - 3x Albion - 2x Mercourier (or 3?) - 2x Tragedy (or 3?) - 1x Kitt - 1x Ad lib - 1x Dramaturge (haven’t seen anyone using this, but put it on the list just in case. Or can he be cut?) - 3x Cartesia - 2x Quem (or 3?) - 1x Lost - 3x Opening - 3x Branded Fusion - 3x High Spirits (or 2?) - 2x Branded in Red - 1x Branded in White - 1x Retribution - 1x Banishment I’m also thinking of getting 3 of every bystial (+ one each of the bystial spell/traps) since they’re basically handtraps and the bystial count changes depending on the format. I’ve got the extra deck monsters figured out pretty much, I think. I’m just not sure whether you need Brigrand or not. Again, thank you very much, especially for this behemoth of a video packed with a lot of information!! 😊
He explains we can play through ash on branded fusion, but it's by far a weaker board than if branded fusion resolves. Also destroy branded lost ASAP and bystial banishes hurt a ton too.
Currently watching the video, enjoying it so far and learning a lot! I wanted to ask. What is the ideal size for Branded? I have heard arguments for 40, 50, 60 and everything in between. I am still watching but didnt see hear explanation as to which would be ideal
Could you do updated video similar to this one? But going into the ROTA format. Cause this just is not relevant cause you use 3xBranded Fusion which has been limited soke time now...
I mean, it is still relevant, all of the combos are the same. You just have to change the list but 80% of the video is still quite relevant and it would be a waste to reupload tbh every format will change builds but nothing fundamentally changed.
I’ve just been bouncing around the video getting as much info as I can, but would you say a 50 card build is superior to a 60? Ik people run 40 for the consistency and seeing better starters in your opening hand, but between 50 and 60 what would you say
If your locals is heavy on shifter decks, would that be another reason to play ad lib over puppet? Shifter tenpai is probably the most common deck at my locals due to fiendsmith engraver costing $90 a copy.
Would you be able to give some feedback on Super Poly being a good response to the fiendsmith engine? Since Super Poly cannot be responded to, I was curious about how Fiendsmith can play around it. Thank you!
@@Raphael4722 what if they have the fiendsmith fusion and another light fiend? I feel like a Garura or a mudragon if there was something else light would work. I was curious if the fiendsmith fusion could work around super poly even though you technically can’t respond to it
Playing 3 albaz for the grindgame but only 1 lubellion seems kinda sus. Definitely not my comfort zone to play 1, im fo sure getting outgrinded here Disclaimer: im gonna try to watch the whole vid but im only this far and dont want to forget what i wanna say.
Yes. I made this guide with master duel in mind you'll just have to make banlist adjustments. Puppet got banned so replace it with arclight or ras disciple
For the most part yes, but I think imperm works slightly differently in ocg and the tcg. Regarding quems 2nd effect, I believe that gets negated as well if it gets impermed. I may have heard wrong but I believe he said only the first effect gets negated. I recall imperm in master duel negating the entire card unless it leaves the field.
Jumping back into the game and branded has changed a metric ton! At 20:55, you/he mentions Mercurior can be sent by Quem, but then states Merc is on board to negate? Can someone explain this?
@MetaGamesGX so was that 2 different scenarios like..."You can send merc with quem, also if merc is on board you can use it's effect?" Or ate you saying send merc with quem, revive it and use it's effect on field?

Just decided to pick this deck up a few weeks ago and this video came up in at the perfect time 😂
Almost 6 hours? This is goated, thank you so much ❤
No problem! Thank you :)
This is the perfect branded guide
Needed this. Thank you

Appreciate the sub and kind words 🫡 branded best deck. Branded has spellcasters and dragons with the coolest art work - what more is there to want?
This absolutely amazing, thank you for your dedication
thank you for your kind words :)
Ebon Sun is a good support option to use along Sanctifire Albion, it also returns the discarded S/T.
This video is perfect! But I would LOVE to see it updated for ROTA
Definitely can consider making an updated one
@@MetaGamesGX That would be sooo awesome. Super helpfull videos bro love watching your content
keep going man, you’re a branded beast
much appreciated :D WILL DO
I see what you did there.. hehe branded beast
This man is the branded GOAT. Change my mind.
too kind
no hablo inglés pero en media hora he aprendido más que en 1 mes jugando branded. Thanks
Beyond happy to hear. This was the intended goal. Best of luck on the rest of your branded journey. It's still incredible post banlist.

Replacement for thrusts would be nadir or more fusion dup / high spirits

If you book of moon albaz it will still resolve. Same if by some effect gets on the other side of the field
So, how do we counter branded without watching all of this video :D
Simple get gimmick puppet locked 😂 nah I'm kidding majority of the time just hand trap branded fusion loll
He explains we can play through ash on branded fusion, but it's by far a weaker board than if branded fusion resolves. Also destroy branded lost ASAP and bystial banishes hurt a ton too.
Thanks man for this it's a treasure for all Yugioh players. But I'd like to ask you if you have a decklist without the puppet lock ? Thanks for all
Yes I have a profile coming out soon

id say 50-60, 50 being the standard

i like 60 most
I run it at 60, the deck has a ton of gas and power. Only downside is you're more prone to bricking
yo what do you guys think about book of eclipse in branded? imo it baits ash and forces some negates also help dodge target neg
Best board breaker in Branded
If your locals is heavy on shifter decks, would that be another reason to play ad lib over puppet? Shifter tenpai is probably the most common deck at my locals due to fiendsmith engraver costing $90 a copy.
its the same line, so ad lib loses to shifter as hard
Is there a part of this video that explains which cards can be sided out?
yes at the end of the deck profile
Would you be able to give some feedback on Super Poly being a good response to the fiendsmith engine? Since Super Poly cannot be responded to, I was curious about how Fiendsmith can play around it. Thank you!
For Yubel it's hard to play around. Snake-Eyes can play around it just by not putting a fusion and a dark on board at the same time.
@@Raphael4722 what if they have the fiendsmith fusion and another light fiend? I feel like a Garura or a mudragon if there was something else light would work. I was curious if the fiendsmith fusion could work around super poly even though you technically can’t respond to it
Not good into fiendsmith

Is there any point in playing branded without quem and if so what is the alternative? I’m waiting for the reprint because it’s expensive :(
quem is a must have at least 1x
@@luscens damn guess I’ll wait for tins lol
No real alternative
@@MetaGamesGX that’s a shame, thanks for the advice - big fan of your videos :)

Yes. I made this guide with master duel in mind you'll just have to make banlist adjustments. Puppet got banned so replace it with arclight or ras disciple

There are plenty of other combos in the video without branded sword

Read the effect or mercourier! It can also be used on the field
