Best Folding MTB I've ever purchased twice, now that i Finally retired from the USPS as a Letter Carrie with 29 years and 11 Months; I can now ride my Montage Paratrooper Highline every other day; depending on the weather.
I owned a paratrooper for a bit... put campus pedals on in... really regret selling it... They are great cross country bikes very capable... remember our military uses them
Yesterday, my Paratrooper Pro was stolen. First time I had to lock it somewhere I couldn't keep an eye on in the four years I've owned it. I had to do something unplanned and couldn't bring the bike in with me. I don't have the money to buy a new one, so I'll go find my old Norco I used as a teenager when I still lived with my parents. Can't wait to be able to buy an other Montague.
That's really bad luck - almost like someone was waiting for their chance. Here in the UK we can either get specialist bike insurance or, what most people do, add it to their house contents insurance for either no, or a very small increase, in payments. Maybe you can do similar if you get another Paratrooper. Hope you've been able to find something to replace it with now.
Sorry hear that your MTB was stolen, in the Future whe nhave money to buy another one, buy a Kryptonite Keeper 785 Integrated Chain Lock: 2.8' (85cm) to cain the bike to a metal fence when your out and about and you can see at all times where you biek is, furthermore being that it fold. bring in in your home; this way it is secure. Leave in your home when you do not want to ride it.
I’m looking into the Montague Bikes and man it’s hard to decide! My heart says Allston for its Gates Belt, my wallet says Urban or Navigator for their price, but the child in me screams “get a Paratrooper it looks so cool and it’s got such a cool name!”
The pedals it comes with are a basic alloy platform pedal, nothing wrong with them. Most mountain bikes don't even come with pedals, as typically people have their preference of pedals, saddles, and grips, so these things are not prioritized when manufacturing bikes.
stay away from this bike ..its junk...is only for people who doesnt understand about bike component ....and want something that look new and cheap.. go to.any giant or trek bicycle store....close your eyes and pick any mountain bike in.the store....it will be better then this shit mtb....that how bad this is.....take this video to proper bike store and they will tell u the same... thank me later
@@blacksheeptocashcow yes exactly the same color but it has "hummer" logo on it. The shop said it's imported from taiwan, i'm fr malaysia n it cost me rm1800

That is false . The military does not use them.
I like the Montague bike highline so nice. My question is there a Montague bike highline with comes up with the rackstand?
can I mount longer handlebars bc I had a back injury and can't bend as far

@86HMann Thanks. It was really annoying. I'm waiting to be living in a more permanent place again to get a new one. Have a good day!

How durable is the bike? I've read the peddles and some of the other accessories are junk quality. Thanks for the video

chengs group25 why what’s wrong with it
It is my dream bike ☹️
In MTB terms it's more like a Plus bike?
It is exactly that!
Why this annoying noise in the background?
I really need one but I can't afford it. Too expensive . Oh well😔
No need to run after new models. Previous models are fine, and they are much cheaper.
i bought the counterfeit version. it's much cheaper and it uses shimano gears and all. great ride
@@thewaywardcyclist3992 where do you get that
and do they have the paratrooper green color
