Thanks to freepngimg.com for the arrow I borrowed.
Revisiting the video, this is very cool. I may do this on my OEM+ build.
Thanks!
I was afraid of tearing the plastic snorkel on the branches. This is very sturdy and I like the way it looks.
A well-built black stove pipe for your diesel !
Thanks! 😁
Wow, how cool! Good work too.
Thanks! 🙂
Interesting and different... As long as it works..😊
Thanks! 🙂
I see, very well done 👀
Thanks! 😃
nice! cool offroad places though
Thanks! I appreciate it.
I don't know if I like it, but if it works, why not🤷🏼♂️
Thanks!
It's different. 🙂
@@V8AmericanMuscleCar Yeah, maybe it's a little bit strange for me, because I see this type of snorkels only on Hummer.
@@bobiivanchov9557 I wasn't sure about the plastic snorkel because I'm afraid of tearing it if I hit a branch or something so this came to mind. This one is made of steel.
Looks good. Your comment on bleepinjeep brought me to this video. Where'd you get the mushroom cap? Did you have to take it up so high? I would like mine to be much tighter to the hood. Also, what size pipe did you use for the inlet piping?
Thank you! You can buy a mushroom cap at any tractor parts store. The inner tube for air is 50 mm, and the outer tube is 70 mm for aesthetics and drainage if some water gets in. About the height, I was looking at how it would look better if the mushroom was higher or lower and if I submerge the hood, I would like to be sure. I decided on this height for both functionality and appearance. It looks really good when you stand next to the Jeep.
Right on. I appreciate the input. I prefer a lower profile appearance wise. For performance, I occasionally cross a water hole that comes over the front of the hood dropping in, but then barely comes over the tire when the jeep levels out. I'm not messing with water deeper than the hood, I'll back out of that. @@V8AmericanMuscleCar
@@benjaminreinhardt259 no problem! I wish you luck with the project.
Hello my Croatian friend, long time no see videos, now i get 1😅
Hello! 🙋♂️
I hope you're doing well.
@@V8AmericanMuscleCar how did you water proof your motor, especially the Alternator/Generator, and is your alternator mounted up top or under the a/c Compressor?
@@CJLane-62 I didn't. 😁 I don't mean to go too deep if I don't have to. It is important to me that water does not draw into the filter if I briefly go deeper.
Good idea.. did you find de mushroom in Amazon?
Thanks! Local tractor parts store. 😉
Any update on the GTA?
Yes, finally! It's done and ready for registration. I'll wait until the salt from the road goes away, then I'll make a video. 🙂
@@V8AmericanMuscleCar really looking forward to seeing it. F bodies always were my favorite cars.
@@V8AmericanMuscleCar ima smisla👍
