Monique Rainford, MD, an award-winning academic and practitioner, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Medical School. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is the Medical Director of the Baltimore Medical System on the St. Agnes Hospital campus. A prolific writer, public speaker, and Lifestyle Medicine advocate, she has throughout her life volunteered and worked professionally in underserved communities in multiple cities in the United States, Jamaica and Honduras. She has appeared in the media (television, radio and print) on multiple occasions nationally and internationally and has authored The Maternal Glow, a pregnancy guide and Please God Send Me a Husband.
