5ft wide master closet is NOT wide enough! It is fine if you're only hanging clothes on one side, but if you're hanging clothes on both walls, there won't be enough room to walk between them!!
Cole, you won’t always be young. I’m 74 years old and you should consider a walk-in shower for your master bedroom. I have built two homes in the past 15 years and I put no curb walk-showers and it is wonderful.
Walk in showers are great when those boys come home with sports injuries too. I raised 4 boys. It will happen and they will be too big for you to bathe.
100% agree.
Also an elevator shaft. Dam it’s a 3 story house plus basement.
Two suggestions re: bathrooms and one about the master closet.
1) Place toilets out of direct line of sight of bathroom entry doors. It's not what you want to look at from your bedroom or hallway, and a backup bit of privacy when you live with children.
2) Reconsider a 3/4 bath rather than a simple powder room on the main floor. If someone becomes disabled, even briefly (broken leg, surgical recovery, etc.), being able to sleep and shower on the main floor is a major thing. Make sure the main floor bath is wheelchair accessible (room to turn around) and the shower is roll-in. If you don't need it, it doesn't cost a fortune (you will want tile floor for a wet room/roll in shower), but if you need it, it's a godsend. I know you said you were designing the entry for wheelchair access, so this seems similarly forward-thinking. Much cheaper to do now than in a remodel.
Even with an enormous master closet, you are not making good use of space to plan a barn door for attic access. They take up a ridiculous amount of wall space, making the closet much less spacious. I think 5 feet is WAY too narrow, because basically, it's a hallway with clothes hanging/shelves on one side.
I thought the same thing about the master closet. He needs to measure the depth of a hanging clothes rod… as huge as that room is it needs a practical closet.
Agreed with the width comment
The door can slide behind the hanging area. A barn door is definitely wasted in that location. They are for display to make a statement. A cavity slider would be a better wat to go
I said the same. Min 6’.
Wider closet
Move the toilets from line of site.
Two sinks is a waist, we are never together in the bathroom at same time. But if you have the room.
Secret steps, do a pocket door.
Storage space is essential, your family is growing and actually having a places to put things away and it be roomy is good for the brain and sole.
Love your plans.
Live to see old home restored, it’s amazing.
My great uncles and grandparents owned home like yours growing up.
And they are just full of stories.
What software are you using on your iPad?
As a parent of two boys, you’ll want your laundry room on bedroom level or close to it.. and if in the basement absolutely a laundry chute
Building a dumbwaiter would be so cool!
Most homes don't put a pan and drain under the washing machine. In my opinion, it's a must especially if it's not in the basement.
If all the bedrooms are upstairs the the laundry room to be up there so you won’t be running up down the steps laundry
I thought there WAS a laundry chute at the start, but it’s done away with. Anyone?
100% - much safer physically to have laundry on same floor as bedrooms then carting heavy clothes/towels/bedding everywhere. Also need more bathrooms (at least a half bath in attic and basement as well.
I'm 47yrs old. $73,000 biweekly and I'm retired, this video have inspired me greatly in many ways that I remember my past of how I struggled with many things in life to be where I am today!!!!❤️
How did you do it? Do explain please 😯
My family have been into series of sufferings lately
All thanks to Renee Marie Harrison
After I raised up to 325k trading with her I bought a new House and a car here in the states 🇺🇸🇺🇸 also paid for my son's surgery (Oscar). Glory to God.shalom…..
Absolutely! I've heard stories of people who started with little to no knowledge but made it out victoriously thanks to Renee Marie Harrison.
I do know Renee M. Harrison, I also have even become successful....
Don’t forget blocking for towel holders, toilet paper holders, grab rails (for when you get to be senior like me), etc.
Elevator...don't forget the elevator!
this!! (i like how Europeans call them "Noggins") i'm now downsized into an old house and need my bathtub for soaking the old bones, but getting out of it is getting harder. i think i need a grab rail but just KNOW the walls can't support one without some real demo (which i can't afford)
Don’t forget to put blocking behind where your towel racks will be!
Where you're planning to hang or attach anything at all to the walls!
Grab bars too! And think about the framing for recessed medicine cabinets if intended.
Closet rods!
I'm still kicking myself for not having a sunken medicine cabinet when they remodeled my bathroom.
Always add lots of blocking for stuff like towels, cabinets, range hoods, even tv mounts and other wall mounted things like lights. (Assuming you intend to do any wallmounted lights to keep the original classic or highend aesthetic of the home)
I think an entrance to a walk-in closet from the bathroom would be better. You can pick out clean clothes right out of the shower/bath. Don't have to walk out of the bath and around to the closet. Ladies appreciate not having to worry about children busting into the bedroom while disrobed (also gives privacy in case spouse is in and out of the room also). It may also give more options of furniture placement in the bedroom with a large dresser, chest of drawers, or work desk (one less door in a bedroom wall to work around).
That is a good idea, however you have to consider the humidity factor… my parents had a walk thru closet from bedroom to bathroom and even with both openings to the closet, humidity was a problem in the closet. Same reason most linen closets are not inside the bathroom.
I saw on Daddy Cornstar's channel that y'all pulled an all nighter planting your fields before the rain hit. Y'all certainly bust your tails to grow what America needs, corn and beans. Thank you for your hard work. Take care of yourselves!
Consider a pocket door or ‘glide’ style door to reduced the space required for a swing door
Not all that uncommon. Did it 3 times in a week
Too bad it's all GMOs.
Corn, for High Fructose Corn Syrup, which is why we are all fat. It is in everything! Also, for ethanol in our fuel, which isn’t good for cars in general.
@@chasetonga yep, their buyers aren't the ones that put corn on our tables
The banana wood tree joke was funny, but hearing Roman explain the joke was HILARIOUS! I jut love watching you boys work.
Cole please make sure the master baths an the downstairs bathroom you can get a wheel chair to the toilets an on the walls around the toilets you have extra bracing for so when you need hand railings later in life you have the bracing there.
I see this home as a gathering place for the entire family. If not for an older Cole /Neva- for YOUR parents. My son helped build a wheelchair ramp in the attached garage for the ELDEST relative, so she could visit the “gathering place” from her assisted living facility. She lived until 92.
Five months that’s pretty quick for three guys and taking care of a farm. Kudos to you guys.
Since your putting up new walls in every room you should put spray insulation for all the interior walls that would make every room almost sound proof
Or Rockwool too!
Spray foam for interior walls is a waste of money. They make insulation for sound barrier but I'm not sure ever wall really needs it 😂
Spray foam is a poor sound barrier. Rockwool would be better but I never liked working with it.
Simple bats of insulation work fine for sound insulation.
@@scottnunya2441 not really. I put it in my house and I heard every whisper. When my son was sound proofing a medical business he was told spray foam and fiberglass were useless. Rockwool and cellulose were suggested as off the shelf choices. If he wanted to spend some money they make a special super dense foam rubber.
Cole, figure out where each doorknob will hit the wall and put a block in. Raising seven sons, that was my second best thing I did while building my house.
The first was to allow the hot water to be shut off for each shower after 6 minutes.
You are so right, I have fixed so many of those holes over the years. I used to just shut off all the water when my kids showered too long, we had a shallow well.
@shamrock4500 l was 'nicer', they could shower as long as they wanted, but after 6 minutes it was only cold...
That's actually brilliant, will be using that blocking moving forward!
I imagine with 7 boys those showers took a long time
And if they slam a door... just remove the door! Simple haha
Turn the bathroom door into pocket door and then you can place them almost anywhere, saves tones of space.
My experience is that the house I worked on was full of original pocket doors. Every single door was non functional. All broken and a total nightmare to restore. Never again. I hate them and they belong to the history of bad ideas.
Enclose the toilets for privacy. Sound proof the walls between bedroom, hall and bath. Kids sound like elephants when running around so sound proof between floors. Also it makes it easier for them to sneak out at night😄
It’s always better to have a separate office away from and out of the bedroom. Do not mix the two. 😊
Cole - A master bathroom with two sinks is designed for the couple to use simultaneously… As much as we all love each other in this world, nobody wants to watch their partner sit on the toilet. Each of the toilets in the master bathrooms need to have a closet built around them with a door - please add a fan inside.
The shower, tub and sinks can occupy the main space - avoid building a maze to get to them. Yes, add a linen closet.
Maybe he should add a urinal.
Actually having a “water closet” for personal privacy is great. No matter how much you “share” with your spouse, having a private toilet is very convenient.
Your home is going to be beautiful!
Private toilet sounds great till you need to help someone else get onto/off of a wheelchair .
A perfect example of, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should."
It's like sharing someone's underpants. Sure, you CAN do that, but you SHOULD NOT do that.
Have you thought about putting soundproofing on the top floors under your finished flooring? So you dont hear persons walking on the floors above.
and don't forget the walls! I really miss architectural design. Perhaps it costs money but the benefit will last a lifetime
He is right. If you insulated the walls the children won't be listening to what goes on in your room. And then when your kids are teenagers. You won't be listening to what's going on in their room. Trust this from a grandfather. Larry
Cole please consider wall space for dressers and art when you are measuring for door placement! So happy you are starting to put the house back together!!
Yeah, not sure where the bedside tables will go beside the bed that’s in an angular area! May be better to wake up looking at the windows and have a bay window sitting area there instead.
Might want to think about another bathroom in your attic. Make sure you have dual sinks in every bathroom
Bathroom doors: Pocket door or barn sliding door! Saves a TON of space and more room to change the furniture layout in the rooms!!
Pocket doors!!
Never a barn door on a bathroom. Bathrooms should have more of a seal for sounds and smells.
We agree 💯
I have ripped out so many pocket doors, I just hate them.
nobody likes pocket doors and especially barn doors
It looks wonderful. I cannot believe how much you have accomplished. It is really moving along. I hope both of the master baths have a separate toilet closet. So important over the years! I have had several with pocket doors and they are great.
YES!!!!! Exactly what I was going to say!!
Agreed!!
If you do listen to so many of the people that suggest you use pocket doors just really research the door units. I have installed and trimmed so many. I have owned a cheap one and we never even used it. The expensive ones are worth it. The barn sliders take up a lot of wall real estate. And for wheel chair access, most modern wheel chairs are less than 27 inches. Most bathroom doors are 32-36 inches. My only real suggestion is while you are removing windows you are trying to make everything fit right on the inside. Don’t forget to visualize what it will look like on the outside. It is easy to get things out of balance.
Actually the true door width is 2 inch less then the door itself and some time 3 when you factor in the door not opening fully flat to the wall. On the other hand if you 30 inch door and you remove the jamb and do barn door you can get 31to 31.5 inches doorway with out having to remove studs. Rough opening is 32 for a 30 inch door.
@@johnunsicker7440 when you buy a 2’-6” the door is actually 30”. You buy the door size you are needing and you make the rough opening to allow for the door jams and an adjustment space. It doesn’t matter what type of door you have you still have to trim it with a jam.
@@dagwood1327 we put 36 inch doors in every room including the closets ready for any physical situation
I can't agree enough about window locations or lack of then can mess with the outside look of the home. So many places look like a Dr Suess made house with goofy shape and size windows randomly placed.
@@tomtomsolvic I have been in the building business for 40+ yrs. Where I notice it the most is in tiny houses. Dr. Suess I like it. Next time I see one where they basically have a greenhouse made from salvage windows I will think Dr. Suess.
Recommend putting a bathroom in the basement as well as the attic. (at least a half bath) because the size of your family/friend circle is going to continue to grow over the years and you don't want people in your bedrooms.
He's planning a bathroom in the basement.
I always loved transoms over doors. Adds character & much needed ventilation. The used to everywhere, now no where. Sad. Wonderful job, guys! ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️
I agree, transoms would add a lot of charm and interest to your place and are period appropriate. Have you thought about installing them?
Cole, consider these ideas for your master bathroom. A 5x10 foot shower area; 5x5 for getting wet & 5x5 for getting dry. Make sure you do not place a toilet flange over the center of a floor joist, Justin will thank you for that! Heat the floor in the whole bathroom, except under the vanity and closets. Instead of blocking between studs use 3/4" plywood, not OSB, on the interior walls before the drywall goes on. If you do, do not forget to add that dimension when locating the toilet. You, Justin & Roman are doing a great job!
make sure your bathroom doors are 36" wide so they can accommodate wheelchair access.
Yes! I cannot even get my walker into my bathrooms, it’s very scary because unfortunately there is no place to mount grab bars. I might be forced to move out of my home because of this.
Thank you Cole, Roman, and Justin. You have made my day. I love how you all make hard work look like fun.
I love what you are doing and your entire family (yes including Roman and Justin) God bless you all
Love seeing Justin getting into the filming silliness now 😂
So true, it’s so much fun to see them all being playful.
I have been watching since the beginning but don’t comment very often. The three of you make a nice team! I really enjoy following your process on the house build. Thanks for sharing your progress with us! ❤❤❤
suggestion: in the bathrooms, instead of eliminating the windows entirely, consider replacing the large windows with clerestory windows. with the high ceilings you have, they should be quite nice.
A smart builder from Texas strongly recommended on his channel to use cast iron pipes from the toilets. One can’t hear the toilets flush from the above floors. With PVC everybody can hear the toilets flush throughout the entire house.
also insulate /wrap vertical lines with heavy rockwool or denim insulation
There is PVC-U spiral silencing drain pipe and you can insulate the outside of the pipes with spray foam or fiberglass.
Yay! You’re putting up the walls! How exciting! What expectacilar job Justin the mastermind has done! Awesome job Roman! What a great team!
Ideally you should have access to the closet from the bathroom.
Everyone have a great Memorial Day Weekend
Roman finally got a cornstar shirt!
Can’t believe you don’t stress wearing eye protection. Simplest piece of ppe that can give good protection from saw dust, wood pieces that might fly into your eye. Keep going, you guys are productive and entertaining. Justin is a good site foreman.
If you don’t have a bedroom for each kid you will regret it. A house that size and only two bedroom is not good
And he can keep pumping them out at this rate.
I agree, seems like a poor utilisation of all that space to me, that house would be 4 beds here in the UK
Having two master bedrooms and their bathrooms, where are the kids room?
The addition they will be building will also contain bedrooms.
@@HensOnly The addition they will be building will also contain bedrooms.
His and her closets are the best
Once you put hanging rods in that long narrow closet I think you may find there’s not much room to walk by
The layout of that bathroom and closet are terrible and the "secret staircase" is a waste of space.
Agree.clothes hangers are 24 inches wide or more so at least 32 inches of space needed for hanging clothes . That doesn’t leave very much for a walkway in that closet. Better less space in thecadjoining bathroom.
@@nolariggs6959 unfortunately he’s flying by the seat of his pants. A competent builder would know all this.
I just started watching the video and before I forget, I just wanted to tell you your front lawn looks really nice ! 👍
Hey Cole. When framing the walls in for your bathrooms it’s a good idea to add blocking in the walls so you can attach things like towel bars. Make it so you attach to solid wood and don’t have to use drywall Mollie bolts or toggle bolts. Anytime we open walls up in our houses or rentals we do that. Lots less wall damage when you do that.
You should consider pocket doors NOT barn doors
Like the ones he tore out and are stored in the shop?
Save the leaded glass window!
Having experience, it's most aesthetically pleasing to have a bathroom vanity be the focal point in an open door. Love what you are doing. Great house.
I'm really looking forward to Electrical and HVAC rough ins.
Major tip for not having regrets later: Plan actual furniture placement for dressers, night stands, sofas, tables, etc. You could end up with lots of space but no good wall space, or a cavernous room that feels uninviting. Ask me how I know....
A friend of mine bought this gigantic house with a similar problem. The previous owner and his son did a very poor job when the two of them tripled the size of the house. The master suite is a jumbled mess with no good place to put anything - even the bed partially covers up 2 windows, as there is no other place to put it.
Looking awesome Cole! I bet you and the fam are so ready for it to be finished. You are making that house proud. ❤
👏 Nice to see Roman FINALLY got his own Cornstar merch t-shirt! But did Cole make him BUY his own? 😁
I seriously hope NOT
Since the pantry and bathroom share a wall, think about making it a 'wet wall', and incorporate a bar/prep sink in the pantry.
A thought: stop thinking of the 3rd floor as the 'attic', and get into the mind set of it being the 3rd floor living space. Would make a great game/play room with pool and ping pong tables, etc.
And why don't you guys wear knee pads??? Cole - you got tool belts, now get yourself and your buddies some pro quality knee pads and watch productivity increase.
One of the boys will eventually occupy the third floor. A house that large with only two bedrooms? Bad planning.
What IF eventually your parents become disabled and need to move in with you? Think about the what if’s and PLEASE consider putting in an elevator.
You all are doing amazing work. As far as the bathroom goes...I recommend having a little privacy room for the toilet. If you have room to do it!
You forgot the first floor bedroom steps are not your friend when you get older
An elevator in the house would of been clutch especially where the servants staircase is - the stairlift bill is gonna be high when Cole/nave are gonna be older 😂
@@antonioquilici4089 $50k for a elevator.
Amen, as an aging baby boomer
Maybe the addition that’s added later, will be older people friendly!
They said their making a expansion on the first floor. I don’t know what they’re gonna build. They were saying they were going to have an office and a big garage next-door to them all attached to the house. At least that was the goal months ago. Just thought I’d let you know.
I have learned so much from you three. I love your friends, Justin and Roman. They are such great workers. Tell Roman I am sorry about his chicken coop. he must have been heartbroken that he could not have chicken. Justin and Roman should start a RUclips channel too!
You should make the bathroom doors swing into the bathrooms. You guys are killing it!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The only change I would make is to have all of the plumbing not on the outside walls, I know it is insulated but you are in a cold climate and plumbing in outside walls will freeze.
Really? I don't know where to start.
@@greghamann2099 Well your right about that. Us northerners now how to run water lines so they don't freeze unlike the south when they run water line in the attic and then they freeze when it gets cold out.
Maybe a transom window up high on the pantry/bathroom wall to let natural light into the pantry
Love that idea. Transoms ROCK
In the main Master Suite you should have his and her closets you have enough room to do that if not you need to make a bigger closet. Just an idea
Look at the joy on your face!!!! Yay!!!! So happy for you! This is quite an endeavor and to stop and appreciate where you’ve come from/to is really important! ❤🙏🏻
Nava is one lucky lady ,I cant wait to see her aesthetic touches when its finished
Hopefully she gets to put her two cents in early will save money later 😊
Not going to happen. She likes privacy.
Not going to happen. Looks like Cole does it how he wants it with no thought to Navas desires
I hope Cole doesn't regret not having Nave involved in the floor plans for the house!!😢
@@user-uq5fb3bx6w What gives you the idea she had no input?
I remember in one of the other videos Roman was preaching the virtues of the hand held circular saw in lieu of the $300.00 miter saw. Then what shows up at your site? A $300.00 miter saw! 😂
If you are going to put in a half bath you might as well put in a shower if you are going to put in plumbing anyway. My daughter decidec to do that and she is so glad. It added to the home value and that shower gets plenty of use when there are lots of guests in the house.
Pocket doors where ever you can. No worries about hearing everything. If you open up the door they just slide so much easier
Maybe put a closet entrance from the bathroom as well. Seems like it would be beneficial.
Just a thought since you all are redoing the whole thing. The width of your doors being wheelchair accessible would be grand. Also a bath with a roll in shower would be a great idea. Again, just a thought. You all may have already considered aging relatives or temporary injuries or aging in place.
It’s a good idea to look ahead to the future. Between showers / tubs: sometimes tubs are needed to soak due to injury or muscle fatigue ( epsom salt soaks) so, for me, tubs rule.
This is all looking awesome! Could one door to the 1/2 bath near the kitchen be across from the stairs? Then door number 2 where the window is? Keeping the pantry wall solid? I think there would still be room for a linen closet, sink and toilet. This is fun to watch Cole!
Okay, here's my ideas if I owned the house I would try to stack the plumbing.
First floor - Change the walk in pantry to a powder room and a separate mudroom with a deep laundry sink. The door (or doors) should be facing the back door stairs. A pantry wall unit can be easily incorporated into the kitchen wall shared with the stairs. Someone can come inside covered in mud and strip off in mudroom . Of course robes would be beneficial otherwise guests may have a surprise.
Second floor - Have a full bath (bathtub for the kids) on the second floor directly above the first floor mudroom/powder room and a laundry room next to it. Split the second suite into two kids bedrooms with with wardrobes/closets.
Attic - Have a half bath or powder room above this in the attic. It could be later changed to a Master suite if required.
Basement - if possible put in at least a powder room under the first floor powder room. This can have a shower added if a guest room is added down there.
I like the look of opening the second floor to the attic roof but also think that this is a waste of space at this time. He said they are planning a two storey addition and garage on this side of the house so maybe it can be incorporated into those plans above the main stairs. You'd walk up from the first floor and turn left onto the landing then turn left again for the original second floor or right for the addition's second floor. That part could be open to the attic roof and maybe skylights as well.
This would make a three bedroom house with a master bathroom and full bathroom on the second floor with the basement and attic having powder rooms so they are extra living space like a media room, games room or gym.
U could do like a hidden bookcase door in that closet in case of a emergency for the family cole
It's all coming together. For the main floor bathroom, as you are looking outward, put the door on the right hand wall towards the kitchen. Are you putting your laundry room in the pantry? I would.
After reading some comments I agree with some of the ideas. Yes you need to enclose the toilets in the master bathrooms, You should also make the main floor bathroom a 3/4, toilet ,sink , and roll-in shower. My parents had to leave their house because my father couldn't do stairs so a shower and sleeping area on the main floor are really a must. And one last thing you should plumb out a 3\4 bath in the attic, one day you will have teenage boys and you may want another bathroom. Or if it becomes a playroom/movie room you don't want to be OR listen to someone running down the stairs when they need to use the facilities. You might want to think about pocket doors for the toilets and secret stairway as well as the downstairs bath. Just my two cents the place looks great!
The framing went well and now suddenly there are rooms ! 👍
Keeps getting closure, can't wait for the completion.
Amazing work so far! Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
In your upstairs bedroom. If you are going go leave the door where it's at, then you should turn your toilet the other direction up against the wall to that is to it's left then move your wall to the left of the toilet after it's moved. Then the person on the toilet is looking past the sinks. Those stairs seemed pretty stable. I bet the lumberyard loves to see you coming. How many stories high is Roman's chicken castle going to be, he sure has the material now. Good luck and we pray that you and all are safe during this crazy weather season.
If you can, most people try to keep the toilet out of your line of sight.
It's the centerpiece in Cole's master bathroom. First thing people see.
Cole, ask Justin how he feels about you and Roman helping him. It would be great to know what he thinks about your skills and if things have improved or got worse.😂
Cole, please put a doorway from the bathroom into the wardrobe in master suite one. It’s so much more considerate and convenient and you won’t regret it.
Cole I like how you asked people’s opinion on the space because it’s going to create a ton of activity in your RUclips channel. Honestly if you can break up each bathroom video and do some kinda voting that would be super cool and create a lot of viewer activity in your chat.
The thought of CLEANING this huge house ( once completed) makes me feel exhausted.
Good thing it’s not your house
Think about pocket doors, they really work well.
No they don't, the way they were built they always got stuck. Ihe original design was poor. and the construction materials were not good. I encountered a house full of them. It was a nightmare!
Good for you Cole, your always positive. Enjoy watching thanks for sharing.😁♥️from seattle
Since you can still change things, I would put a door from the master bathrooms into the walk-in closet. That would be so handy!
Thanks and GOD BLESS 😀
I am glad Roman finally got a shirt
It was a hoodie he wanted.
In master 2, Put the toilet on the closet wall, make the shower a corner entrance and put it on closet wall and exterior wall. Use the other corner of exterior wall and create a massive sink, vanity and storage cabinetry.
I loved the chin up session!!! You guys are having way too much fun BUT you are getting work done! Keep these great videos coming.
My bet is that you’re gonna have to redo the bathroom layout. I think the sinks should be on the outer wall with a mirror in front of them. The toilets could go into a small room if you want to, but I would add a door for some privacy if you want.
Cole you have put so much time and effort into this beautiful old home! Its a wonderful tribute to your great grandpa and grandpa! Coming from someone who is 76 yrs old I'm wondering if you have put any thought into an elevator system? I've been watching your You Tube channel for several years and I am amazed at all you have accomplished. Thank you for years of great entertainment!
Over 70 here 👋 I’d love living in this beautiful house, but arthritic knees and spine would keep me STUCK on the ground level. Heck, I might even have trouble getting onto the porch to enter.( yes, there’s always the side entrance, but you walk into stairs there, too)
Great thought. Maybe you can build the stairs wells extra wide so a chair lift can be installed.
For the bathroom the door should walk into facing the vanity/mirror/sink and maybe to the left have the toilet facing the window and on the right the tub/shower idk
Absolutely stunning work, dedication, ethics, and ingenuity are what you guys are made of. A 1000 hand claps and hugs. Good job.
OBBSTACLES? 😂😂
Love this channel &, of course, it’s people!
TYTY for sharing! ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️
I think there was an H in there some place, too!
I think I saw "ABBSTACLES" when he first time used the whiteboard.. 🤔😂😂
So there's another channel that I watch organized chaos 4. At some point if you have an attached garage. I would do what they did and I would put a door that went from your garage directly into your kitchen, pantry, or closest room so you dont have to lig dirt and snow all thru the house and you can drop and go then shut door and get your shoes off and then unpack
If you are going to hang clothes on both sides of your closet, you need to be at least 6ft. wide for that closet. Please think about this if that’s the case!
Thanks Cole! Looks great! Thanks for sharing!
Loving the layout cole, its really coming together now! Finally progress..... does that mean your almost ready for wiring and plastervoard? Gunna look lovely when it gets done! But liveable untill completely complete. Makes it all worth the slog! Keep doing what your doing boys! Absolute grand job
Still not too late to hire a designer 😊
I don't think they know what they are doing either. Too late now.
Is Neva ever asked her opinion, I but she’d have some good ideas. Maybe she’s just leaving all decisions up to her man.
@@greghamann2099 I agree. I thought gutting the wreck of the old house was a good idea, considering the extent of the problems from an unmaintained white elephant. Now, however, when I read comments saying Justin is a the brains, a genius, and in today someone said he was the mastermind, I have to laugh. Cole is a bright guy. I hope he consults an actual architect and a designer and sticks to farming/business and Justing sticks to swinging a hammer.
@@ER-xl6cs Good point. He is in over his head, but I have seen that is how he rolls.
