Ryan, you can't do everything yourself even though your good at it. You need to hire someone from the outside to have your back. Trust me I learned the hard way trying to do everything and just ask people to get things for me and do little tasks and I burned out fast and got sick. Get help, but not finishing or anything related to concrete, get administrative type help

Bring the person on job sites with you, show them little things here and there but they don't need to be a great finisher or have a cdl or even know anything about concrete. Teach them how to do bids, team them what a job site should look like before and after the job is complete. Find someone who will take pride in the little things that you tell your crew but it goes in one ear and out the other
AG1 is good but super expensive.
@VictoryOutdoorServices I hope you read this, please be extremely careful with fibre optic cables, they may not be in your area yet but are becoming common for internet routers and rerunning this line can cost 10's of thousands of dollars to replace. Something I'm not sure if you are aware of. Some contractors accidently sliced through ours even though it was marked and it cost $30000 to replace the cable run.
Tino is a great guy. He’s always working hard and doesn’t seem to be making a ton of mistakes. I gained even more respect for him in this video. You can tell he has a lot going on in his life, but he has a lot of integrity and expressing his appreciation for all the kindness he’s been shown made me smile. He deserves all the best and I wish nothing but better days for him from here onwards.

Ryan, a lifetime ago I was a contractor framing houses. I can say from experience that you could be a poster boy for how to conduct business, and treat your customers and crew. I have no doubt that you will continue to be successful! Take care of yourself just as much as you take care of your crew, and continue to have a great season!

Big Ray turned a 30 second sharpening into a 5 minute hack job where 3/4 of the pencil was gone and then he blames the pencil lol 😂 Ryan should put together a Big Ray challenge where he has to attach a hose, open two different sealed buckets, change angle grinder and circular saw blade etc. Like 10 different easy tasks and maybe a memory game bonus of remembering what those 10 things were without asking.

Ryan ... Have you actually "seen" Ray's CDL ??? Because he Doesn't act like he EVER "TOOK" the actual CDL EXAM !!! Doesn't read Road SINS, Doesn't checkout his truck BEFORE use, Doesn't check on Trailer load whenever he is TOWING ..... Practically ran the Mack out of Oil (that time, ... Oil ALL over the truck, dripping from under body ...) I mean ... "COM OM"
Asking this question out of ignorance so if its dumb please don't hesitate to tell me... @victoryoutdoorservices why don't you have a decent size pile of gravel at the "New" yard? That way in the morning you can load ray and go straight to the job site. you know you would always have enough gravel at least for the first load to get started. You could put a cover on it similar to the salt for winter. put both next to each other and it would also look pretty nice in the yard.
Also at the end of the week or rainy days you could go refill the pile and eliminate all the back and forth trips for Ray. Any extra gravel can get dumped there instead of having to manage trucks on which has stuff in it and which don't.
Another day of Ray being forgetful 😂
Ryan had to tell Ray, the CDL driver, not to strap equipment down with straps. This is getting bad
straps are just fine for certain equipment....They are rated just like any other tie down device.

I know a lot of people don’t wanna hear this, but you can be upfront about it before hand. Just letting people know we live in that area that that goes through a lot of freezing and thaw with salt added into the mix, it’s a possibility at this stuff can pit
EXACTLY ..... A "pre-printed" letter explaining the common, and regional problems when new concrete is installed ..... Make the customers "Sign" on the letter and KEEP the original, including a copy with the contract !! Problem SOLVED !

To be honest Ryan, the weeds and longer grass isn't hurting anything and the bugs actually thank you for it. If you leave the back half of your property uncut, or at least significantly longer, your amount of work will be halved and your yard will be healthier. win-win. One option is to spread clover seeds in the back. Will propagate easily, doesn't get too tall, softer to walk on than grass, and very good for the bugs.
Don't listen to this guy. I don't know about clover, but long grass holds moisture, it's a night mare to cut though. Clogs everything and will make your yard into a mosquito nightmare.
@@unitedstatessc . I've 15 years between conservation and yard maintenance. My exact point is that he doesn't need to be mowing the back half, far enough away from where everyone plays that it's not a nuisance (if it even would be one). Clover is far less dense than grass, so it doesn't hold moisture as your typical yard grass. It is also a nitrogen-fixer. Meaning that it actually would help the grass and other plants around it. On the other end of your argument, it would also attract other bugs like praying mantises and fireflies.. something I'm sure all the kids would enjoy (not to mention the bugs themselves). Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is mine, based off my education and experience.

I’m a plumber in Australia and my company we service a lot of homes in maintenance, sometimes things happen and you get asked to come back, it’s part and parcel in the game we are all in .
Always go back and show you are a professional company and you stand by your words, everyone I have ever worked for in the past goes back too that’s what a professional company does.
