My Freshers Experience at the University of Sheffield (in 3 minutes) | What to expect

- This is a summary of what I did as a fresher in 2018. This is a commemoration of the times I went on a night out, also it should give you some idea of what night life is like in Sheffield! This is raw footage from my snapchat and instagram stories so I hope you enjoy.
I can confidently say that I had the best time of my life during my first year at uni! Don't worry, there are plenty of clubs which plays a wide range of genres (UK Hip hop, Pop, Indie, DnB, R&B, rock, Kpop, 1980's, you name it) during the week. Obviously because of covid, clubbing is not an option but, when things get back to normal, this is what you can expect from a night out in Sheffield. (With me at least lol).
I also want to add that you should only go on a night out if you want to, and you shouldn't feel the pressure to go out. You don't need to drink, sleep late and listen to loud music just to have a good night out. You can have chill nights like Night 3 in the video and still have an amazing time. This video is showing what I personally enjoy from a night out. Everybody is different! This is just what gets me going and hyped up.
Maaan, I am on my second year now... Your video brought me so many good memories haha I am happy I was able to experience that kind of stuff too when I was a fresher. Damn, I miss that so so much :(
Likewise man, I feel you. I miss it too😟. Luckily for me I’ve experienced 2 years of it instead🤪 but it’s still an L man... virtual just ain’t the same as physical

Ah... There are no words in which I can describe how bad uni is now and how do I feel about that kind of stuff going on now...

@@aldrichcervania8833 but its actually so damn sad. Uni should be the best period with best memories of your life. My good uni time stopped after 6 months. Now I'm on my second year, next year will be engineering internship and hopefully in my last year I will be able to experience all that crazy stuff going on in Sheffield
But on the other hand I learnt one thing. We need to appreciate every single little thing.
Last year I didn't even realise how lucky I was to sit in a lecture theatre full of students or taking part in normal laboratories
It’s crazy how much we take for granted, and not realise how much of a blessing stuff is until it’s gone. That’s why I’m trying to appreciate more the fact that me, my friends and family (and people who watch my vids) are all safe from covid so far. I’m also trying to maximise my time and positive energy on virtual activities too. Yeah it’s a dry in comparison to previous years but, we gotta make do and live through this awful pandemic
