Great to see the field work getting underway. As a non farmer I wonder why you turn over a grass field? Or was it hay. Does it add nitrogen to the soil? So I'm thinking this is preparation for a new crop? Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a safe and fun Spring, Deb

We rotate the crops because the alfalfa and the clover only last a certain amount of time, when you plow Sod underneath it helps become fertilizer and the oats we put in are a cover crop. After we take the oats out it will be a hay field again. Hope my explanation was ok. Thanks for watching always like reading your comments
