Here's my opinion. 'Ratata' in pink venom is similar to 'dudududududu' in hylt. The construction of the song is similar to that of ktl. The vibes of the song is a mixture of D4, ktl and hylt. And if you look at it, all the three songs have been a massive hit, compared to lsg. So i think yg went for the same vibe knowing that the song would be a hit. Agreed. I was a big fan when they first debuted. Whistle is still one of my favorite songs, it’s so fun and such a good song, especially a debut song! They were a breath of fresh air then. But sadly it seems that YG is just riding the gravy train and not really doing anything innovative anymore- they’re just milking it for all it’s worth. They’ve been turned into models that happen to release music sometimes. Which is absolutely fine, but I wish they’d just embrace that angle more instead of trying to act like they’re still anything like a typical Kpop group, because they’re not. The girls have a lot of potential but they are just being used as a money printing machine of same same music and videos that they know will hit big instead of letting them explore what they’re all capable of. Meanwhile the creepy old corporate men that sit and do nothing all day take home all of the money from the girls while the girls do the work that brings in the money. And as soon as BP stops making as much money for them, they will be dropped like they’re nothing. YG has a history of doing this, we all know it will happen. So when it does, I hope the girls end up OK, because they won’t have a stable footing in the industry to continue their careers at anywhere near the same trajectory if this continues the way it’s going right now.

Here's my opinion. 'Ratata' in pink venom is similar to 'dudududududu' in hylt. The construction of the song is similar to that of ktl. The vibes of the song is a mixture of D4, ktl and hylt. And if you look at it, all the three songs have been a massive hit, compared to lsg. So i think yg went for the same vibe knowing that the song would be a hit. They don't wanna risk by trying new genres. Will the song be a hit? Ofcourse, cause some blinks are wild streamers and they haven't gotten any content since two years. Now even a small teaser blows up due to lack of content from them. Then imagine the blow up of an mv. But then again, is the song upto the mark? Well that is upto you to decide it

Agreed. I was a big fan when they first debuted. Whistle is still one of my favorite songs, it’s so fun and such a good song, especially a debut song! They were a breath of fresh air then.
But sadly it seems that YG is just riding the gravy train and not really doing anything innovative anymore- they’re just milking it for all it’s worth. They’ve been turned into models that happen to release music sometimes. Which is absolutely fine, but I wish they’d just embrace that angle more instead of trying to act like they’re still anything like a typical Kpop group, because they’re not. The girls have a lot of potential but they are just being used as a money printing machine of same same music and videos that they know will hit big instead of letting them explore what they’re all capable of. Meanwhile the creepy old corporate men that sit and do nothing all day take home all of the money from the girls while the girls do the work that brings in the money. And as soon as BP stops making as much money for them, they will be dropped like they’re nothing. YG has a history of doing this, we all know it will happen. So when it does, I hope the girls end up OK, because they won’t have a stable footing in the industry to continue their careers at anywhere near the same trajectory if this continues the way it’s going right now.
