After 4 years of playing the clawhammer banjo this is where I am at.

I have been playing the claw hammer banjo for four years now. And I just wanted to do a progress video to show where I was at in my playing of the claw hammer banjo after four years. I know I can’t sing, but I hope you enjoy the video.

Has your progress been steady or has it been exponential or accelerated as you learn more and more? How often do you practice? Are you taking lessons or self taught? Enjoyed your video.

My progress have come in waves I will learn something new and it opens up a whole new things to learn.

sorry i just realized i didnt fully answer your question.. i am self taught. my progress has accelerated once i lost my dependancy on TAB. I can now figure out the melody to what ever song i want to play and arrange my own version. I practice atleast 1 hour everyday, but most days it 2-3 hours. Thank you again!
