HERE WE GO! Join Matt and Nav as they continue their mission through the USA! The boys are on the way to the Overland Expo West in Flagstaff but take a "shortcut" to camp the night. A little bit of rain soon turns into a flooded, boggy mess and this might become more of a mission than they once expected! Will they make it to the show in one piece?

If you do a jeep, a tough truck tourer...... Look at CodeX jeep from a few years back for inspiration. Cab chopped, axle swapped, engine swap. The one Justin patriot campers were involved with.
Aussie build needs to be bigger than ram.... Did someone say All Terrain Warriors..... If you get my drift.... And tow a toy hauler with boat and atv behind.

That beige (Bronco sized) International and the Apache and the 80 at the end for mine, the rest is so American, just OTT, just gone to much like the buggy, is it a car or a buggy, it's like wearing speedos at the beach, they are speedos until ya leave the boardwalk then their undies, and that's wrong on so many levels. But as usual only in America. Still sick to see what can be done., What I find more impressive is the links and under chassis fab work, aftermarket links, joints diff bracing etc that they get into. would love to see more of that here, more available options. But good work lads, def love to see Nav get something that reflects him as a tourer. he should check out Designed and Built back in Aussie for idea's, might not need to get that flash, but shows what can be done. keep it up lads, I dunno how ya put with Mat though Nav, patience of a saint 🤘
American here! I went to that expo and frankly it was overwhelming and too much. Kinda lost the reason what camping is supposed to be. Makes you feel poor if you don't have the latest and the biggest rig. Felt sour leaving it. Probably won't go to the expo again. The classic Chevy Apache was by far the best rig at the show.
Build a jeep gladiator or a ford raptor as both are built to explore more of the harder stuff and have some much a needed fun. But love the content as you are always changing it up and have something new unlike alot of the other youtube offroaders to just go to the same old tracks every week

I have a Daihatsu Feroza that would be a sik project for Nav. Re-power it with something a little bigger and your good to go!
Look deer!!! (Shakes head) Those big ones with the white butts are Elk or the native Wapiti. Males are bulls females are cows. The deer you’ll see are gonna be mostly Mule Deer. Whiteish tails with black tips and half the size of those elk. Can’t wait until you two run into some bison!!!

2. Get 37 or 39 Bfgs on that thing asap.
3. Build a Jeep.
For every one follower you loose in Aus there are at least 3 who would follow you from the states. That expo should have opened your eyes!

Something else about pine sap is it can be used to seal up cuts and it has antibiotics in it which would help keep infection down if a bad cut.

Keep hot water bottles on board boys. Game changers for cold nights sleep camping in Victoria. Or heat rocks up by the fire then put them in your bed before bedtime. Under your feet while chilling in your camp chair 👌

I didn't realize how far south flagstaff is but if your here in the states and as close as you are you should check out the huge redwood trees they are unbelievably huge and great camp sights around

Honesty, this type of offroad with all that equipment. The Power Wagon makes perfect sense to me, it is made to move heavy, and off pavement. Most vehicles if scaled will be pulled from the road because of they are over loaded past capacity.
You bloody rippper Matty. This episode is the epitome of the explore life. Nice job. So happy for ya mate and thanks for showing us around the rigs at overland. In my opinion you took a yank truck to the USA, now bring a Toyota back and give it an Aussie spin. A Tacoma or Sequoia.. don’t get a Jeep. 😂

Those are elk and if you guys work you way to northern California there are thousands of miles of logging and forestry roads with beautiful sights and hidden mountain lakes. Like if you can't over from reno take 395 west into California then highway 44 west towards redding intestate 5 and shasta lake or take highway 89 off of highway 44 towards mt shasta so many options.

The problem is we are very limited in vehicles with solid front axels and that’s why so many have Jeeps. If we had landcruisers like y’all it would be a different story.

I love jeeps, been a fan since a toddler… however, I hate driving them if the doors and top is on. I never thought of a jeep as an everyday driver. We used them to get in the woods long before wheelers and buggies were a thing. I’m sure people will disagree but I said what I said.
