Using DC to power any items that run for long periods, or indefinitely. I bought a truck that had a domestic fridge wired to run off AC. On my first few camping trips I was a slave to charging my Delta Max for several hours a day with 220w panels. Once I converted to DC for the fridge I can go 3-4 days before needing to charge.
My take is to only use AC to power short term use so your inverter is not running 24/7.

hi there, thank you, i will try running a 12v inverter from it next time i am there and running the cameras and router from that, i will make a video.

I found that I had to calibrate the Delta Pros (and any batteries you may have to go with it).
I think this is a major part of your issue here, for my Delta Pros give exactly what they should in power and longevity once the software is calibrated properly.
Also.... unless you need EPS.... turn it off. It uses power in the background also.
    To recalibrate...
Charge to 100%. Unplug all power inputs (solar, and anything else)
Run the battery until it stops giving power.
I found that the Delta pro stayed a '0%' for HOURS.... still pumping out energy until it finally stopped giving power.
LEAVE ALONE for at least one hour.
Charge up fully (with solar or even from the Grid)
Do not draw power whist it is charging up.
Once at 100% you can use as you normally would.
Do this once and it will probably be enough to recalibrate fully, but you may need to do it 2 or even three times.
This should solve this problem. It did so for me, and I read that it has done so for many other people.
This info should really be in the manual. Probably will be in the future!
    Good luck!

Should we run it with the inverter on or off to recalibrate?

In the settings on the mobile app, you can dial down the output wattage and reduce the power drain from the internals.

this is soc (state of charge) error. All deltas have it. Your (true) battery charge is different than that shown in the app.

Hello Mike, I have the Delta 2 Max and I am very impressed with it so far. Are you still using the Delta pro? any issues?

Hi there, Yes its my primary means of power and its great when you are there to manage it. I did think it would break within a year of being in the harsh salty air climate of the bahamas but its nearly 2 years old and still going strong!!!!!

Definitely need to calibrate at least once a year in my experience.

How do you calibrate it? Thanks.

@@jasoninoa The calibration sequence is discharge to 0%, once the unit shuts off at 0% plug the unit in and charge to 100%. Once the unit stops charging at 100% shut the unit off for 1 to 3 hours, there is no definitive time for this I have only been told 1 to 3 hours from Ecoflow support. Then turn back on and do this sequence again two more times. It takes up to three cycles of full discharge and recharge to recalibrate the system for the unit to know where 100% is and where 0% is. This saved my two units that were not lasting all day as they used to and now they are back like new.

What is the Chance of the Lithium Battery Accidentally Catching Fire? Can anyone kindly give their views.

      Just randomly? Almost unheard of

Only the delta, delta max and wave 2 batteries are chemistry that is susceptible to fires everything else including the delta pro is the much safer lithium ion phosphate which is incredibly safe

I don’t leave any solar generator unattended while charging. If it’s inside I am going to be present. It’s just a rule I operate on.

Could you get by with only DC output turned on for the small loads when you are away?
