  • After a long of work I said what the hell.
With one hour of light left and approaching slack tide, I put a new color pattern to work.
The 5 inch bait came in clutch even after slack tide hit.
Thank you for reading and watching 🤙🏻

I just got stung by a stingray out there last night 😂

Hmmm I may have to try this sometime.
I’ve heard it’s not fun to get stung. I’ve been lucky.
Stepped on a few and those lil guys were all over the beach.

Haha yeah those megabass rods don’t bend that easy. Spotties are so strong especially when they are big.
That last one was about 17”.
I got to start measuring some of these big ones.
Thanks for watching my guy 🤙🏻.

Good catchun' but your release method of throwing the fish could be better, just sayin',

      @Stellarbaits  15 часов назад

@@KenLee-o7q I figured sooner or later someone would say that. In the video maybe because of the camera view sometimes it seems like they are being thrown far but they are only going maybe 7-8 feet at the most.
When I catch rooster fish they always say throw them in head first hard so the water forces in through the gills.
I’ve never had a spottie die as a result of throwing it back but I don’t mind dialing down the release.
Appreciate you watching, the comment, and constructive criticism. Next video I may have some different camera views and I’ll get a better release 🤙🏻

My 3 biggest spotty's are in the 16 to 16.5 inch range, one of those was on the same piling and same side as the one you got at the 9:30 mark

That’s a big one. Definitely some giants out there.
There was so many big spotties in that video. Sadly had to leave a ton of them out including some that were bigger than the biggest one in the video.
But definitely going to hit up that bridge again soon and target some halibut grounds near the ferry landing.

I want to fish out there. Those spotted bass look so cool. If I’m ever out your way we should collab.
    BTW, go Padres!

Fasho that would be amazing. And Spotties are so strong and it’s difficult to get tired of catching them.
Thanks for watching and the mutual support. If you want to try some big stripper size swim baits let me know.
I think it would be cool to see if they get any Striper Attention.
      Thanks again G 🤙🏻
