Based on what you have been describing, I am very excited for the whole album. I love Dark Tranquillity. "Projector " has been their best album so far (for me). Hopefully this can come close to that.

Just to say 2 things. If you really love his clean vocals, you have to listen to the album Projector. It´s almost all clean vocals. And it´s also my least favorite of their albuns, not necessarily because of the clean vocals (i love them), but because it´s too much Gothic Metal. I like Gothic Metal, but from DT i expect Melodic Death Metal. The first song of the album is at the level of their best ones, though. About the importance of the lyrics, you don´t need to tell me that. I have always valued hugely the lyrics of the music i listen. Also, with DT, it´s a fact that the lyrics are gonna be great, it has been like that always since the begining, just like they can´t make bad music, they also can´t make bad lyrics. Been waiting for this reaction since the video was released 😉 I just LOVE this song, too and I can only agree that those three songs don't even get you an idea of how unbeliebly great that album is. One correction though: There are three versions of the album. One very basic version with 10 songs, the digipak and vinyl versions with 12 songs and the deluxe CD version with an additional disk and 14 songs. I'd definitely recommend at least the 12 song version, because like you said: That very last song is pure magic 🤘
@@ZZ-sg4zf Good question. Metal Archives says, the digital version is only the one with 10 songs. So probably that's the version they'll use for streaming services. Not 100% sure about that, though.
I will probably be very disappointed if the album contains a lot of clean vocals like in this song or even more. The parts with clean vocals sounds like mainstream pop or rock in my ears, very lifeless singing. All DT songs with Stanne's clean vocals have ended up in the bin so far (edit: except one, see below). Love the earlier two songs from Moment, they might fit into melodeath or melodic black metal if you stretch the definition. What is melodeath in this song, not much I would say? Edit: I found one song with clean vocals that I liked. Iridium. In all other songs I get the impression of a munk singing psalms in a monotonous way.

The instrumental are superb! Those synths add such a dense and melancholy atmosphere!!

It's actually quite bad haha. Not even DT liked it. Hence why they recorded live in milan which is a seriously awesome live-dvd

There are 3 editions. One with 10, one with 12 and one with 14. I was not aware of the 14
