Awesome! This just popped up in my feed. PAD's the best, easily in my top 3 for writers (Morrison and Waid are the other 2) and a super nice guy. Really funny too, just a joy to meet in person. Sometimes they say you shouldn't meet your heroes... unless one of your heroes is Peter David. 😁

Growing up, I felt like the only kid reading the brilliant Peter David (particularly the Hulk, X-Factor and Spiderman 2099). It's fantastic to see that so many fans love his work like I do! Great interview, love how it went deep with X-Factor 87.
That issue deserves an hour long discussion with Peter. :)
Peter David is hands down my second favorite CB writer after Brubaker. He's written so many great stories. But my favorite will always be Atlantis Chronicles and his run on Aquaman. The former is a masterpiece of storytelling(a term I don't use lightly) and the latter made me a huge Aquaman fan.
What’s the deal between him and John Byrne? They seem to despise each other .
Well that was awesome! I've gotta hand it to you Omar you keep knocking it out of the park. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Peter David talk with you and his enthusiasm for his characters is really nice to see. I've never read his Spidey 2099 so I'm hoping Marvel bring out an omni so I can see it up close and enjoy it as much as he obviously does. Thanks again.

Omar, you did amazing! Whenever I meet someone like Peter at a convention and I have the opportunity to speak to them, I freeze up, say something stupid, or mumble about 80+% of the time. Or I play the questions over and over in my head, and I just slaughter them in between the brain to mouth. You made it look easy man, thanks!

I always liked Peter David on both the DC Star Trek series he did as well as Fallen Angel. I'm glad he mentioned Fallen Angel because that is still one of my faves that he wrote in a series. I wish I could see you that in a hardcover omnibus. I do have the three omnibus paperbacks which I think are out of print. If you haven't read that series you're missing out.
They are amazing. I also would love to see big huge books of those printed.

I'm doing a re-read of X-Factor Investigations and remember this interview being mentioned on a live show. It's really funny watching how closed off Peter David's body language is and tone at the beginning of the interview and just seeing by the end of it how he seems genuinely into the conversation. Very much enjoyed it, can't wait for when we can do conventions again
Gonna be watching this later. Talking with him at Louisville was great. One of my favorite writers as well. So amped for Volume 2 hulk

I picked up Aquaman by Peter David volumes 1 and 2 and have been unable to get volume 3. I'd love to see book 3 reprinted and available again sometime.
Sigh... that was the one that was cancelled. :( I hope one day we get it back .

Near Mint Condition Ye that would be awesome! The complexity behind Madrox Under Peter David really made him one of my favorite characters (not to mention that Guido moment in the psych session with Doc Samson); but since X-Factor already has another writer...maybe for X-Corps? I could see that team in there
