    Cool, I got my pacemaker last Monday (8 days ago) and was doing that both above and below the collar bone. I made it feel better but I was also concerned that it might not be a good idea. Thanks for the wonderful information!

      Until the four week mark, I would work above the collarbone. After that gently working around the pacemaker, wires, and the pocket will be fine.

    Wow! It just so happened that I’ve been wondering about what my strength exercises were doing to my pacemaker. I get this feeling of a tightness across the area. I did what you suggested and I think it’s helping. Thank you!

    Dont want to mess about with device leads

    I just had my first pacemaker replacement. They said one lead was slightly compromised after 8 years but not enough to worry about...for now.
    So with this issue, I am a little shy of my normal activities, which is a lot.
    I have never heard of this procedure, is it medically recognized or a personal approach?

    I’m 21 and very active but have a pacemaker. I love CrossFit and want to try to do it competitively but not sure if I’ll be risking a lot pushing myself past limits. It’s a leadless pacemaker and my doctors don’t seem to have much answers about if that’s a risk or not. Jus thought I’d ask to see what you think

      If it’s leadless, go tor it!! I would tell you to go for it even with leads, but girl you’re lucky! I am competitive in CrossFit and Olympic lifting, and I don’t let it slow me down even with my leads. In the end most of the docs know how to put it in and truthfully, that’s all they need to be good at lol. You are safe. Have fun and good luck!

    Hi, this is off the topic but how are you doing with Kettle Bell movements? Are you comfortable in the rack position? Are you cautious with snatches? Also are you using the concept2?
    Thanks for your help

    I feel twitching in different parts of my body after my pacemaker surgery can you tell me what it would be please

    • @ginahoegh
      @ginahoegh  Год назад

      If it is around the area of the pacemaker, it could just be muscles twitching because of the surgical site. Other than that, I don’t have an answer for you. Should talk to your doctor regarding that issue.
