YEEEEEAH!!! Great to see this. I still love the audio only podcast but this was fun.
these guys are the best... and i love the cut-ins.
Great show! Keep it up, guys. Lots of good info and humor.😅
whoa....I'm digging these video podcasts
Loving the video podcast 🎞️📷👍🏽
John without his beard. Looks good. I'm keeping mine
Love this show in video format. I might watch the next one on my big projector screen. Keep up the great content and your great film products, you guys are amazing.
I loved the visual podcast. I, too, have a Mamiya C3 with 8cm & 18cm lenses. And i think the 25cm is in my future. I like seeing the camera's as they are being talked about. But I must admit more times than not. I listen to the podcast while I drive to work. Keep up the good work. I would register for the modified twin lens.
Great video podcast guys 😊
YAY!!!!! A few comments -- where's the facial hair??? I know that the production technicals are different, but I miss the sound effects and Smoove Sailors intro/outro songs! But I love watching the vintage commercials. More, more, more!!!
Enjoyed the video podcast. (Except losing the Sparkle Brick. 😢😅) Glad to at least see my artwork displayed. Thanks for the show!
I was taking a drink when Flash popped up..luckily it was water and cleaned up easily.
This was great!!!❤❤
I have been using & loving my Mamiyaflex C2 for about 55 years! I also have a Rollei prism modified to fit. It's a heavy, but great kit.
Hey -- for Jekyll and Hyde -- Jekyll is a vintage color stock and Hyde is a vintage B&W stock!!!
Hey gang, really enjoyed the video podcast! Perfect length for a rainy morning coffee on the couch. I didn't miss the youtube live chat aspect, it was easier to focus on the "characters". I actually enjoyed the ambience of the last video podcast from Cleveland, with mic cables all over the table, so don't sweat it if you do another one! One piece of feedback: when I'm looking at the "videos" section on the FilmPhotographyProject youtube it's difficult to tell which episode is a video podcast based on the titles and cover images. Thanks again!
Thanks for the feedback! re: "it's difficult to tell which episode is a video podcast based on the titles and cover images" will ADD (audio) in the descriptions for non-video uploads. - Mike
I use my C33 all the time , love it :)
Those microphones are badass
As an active Mamiya shooter, (220, 330 Pro and F, 645) the KEH prices he quotes are for tired specimens. Clean shooters will be a bit more (understatement). Lens's come in Chrome (older) and Black (newer) Stick to black. The C2/220 is light and bullet proof. It is my favorite to carry compared to the 3 series. The C330 is a tank, auto cocking, etc. and if in clean condition a wonderful piece of machinery. Big thing to watch for is light leaks (expensive to have replaced) and worn gear advance causing frame spacing issues. (220 has no gears - hint hint)
Carry on gets - stiff upper lip and keep your stick on the ice.
gets = gents
I followed your Spotify podcast channel, congratulations guys!
Thanks so much for listening. - Mike
As a Mamiya C shooter for decades I'd like to point out that the longest lens is 250mm, not 205mm.
Hi Bill, Input appreciated. - Mike
I checked Ebay for the Mamiya C3 cameras and there are no cameras under $100. Those that are have no lenses. Most are priced at $150 to up to $375 or even more.
Maybe for the Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde film, have one be infrared and the other be orthochromatic.
Mike -- you made a comment about trimming the 35mm film for 126 cameras and, not sure why, but I thought -- do you need to hire a mohel???
Put me down for a monster film box set for this fall
Same!
Hi, you can still buy 220 film at Shanghai GP3 220
Excellent! Good to know.
Great show, guys! Mike, have you tried the GAF Anscomatic 726? It's a 126 manual focus rangefinder, speeds 1/30 to 1/500, f2.8. It can use batteries for auto exposure but doesn't need them.
I've tried it with 35mm/126 backing paper and it worked *OK*, skipped a frame every now and again when advancing. I've yet to try it without the backing paper, maybe that works better. Anyway, worth a look!
First time hearing about it! Already G.A.S.SED up over the GAF Anscomatic 726 (on eBay)! - Mike
@@FilmPhotographyProject Same thing happened to me when I discovered it 😄 hopefully you find a good one
Are you on Instagram?
@@FilmPhotographyProject I am, @_joshmauser_ (underscores required)
@@FilmPhotographyProject I think RUclips deletes IG handles? It's *_joshmauser_ (asterisk is at symbol, underscores before and after name)
love the podcast. Can you develop Super Positive 35mm in a monobath developer?
FPP Super Positive is a specialty film. I recommend a traditional developer (like D96, D76 or HC-110). - You can try but we have never attempted. - Mike
Dont try it. Ill tell you straight out. It does not work. I thought it might just be me, but I’m glad to know it isn’t. Every roll i have tried to develop has come out blank. Moving forward this is good to know. Can’t wait to try the next batch. Thanks!.
