My grandmother taught me how to cook and I miss her… I love the vibes ❤❤
Omg both look amazing. I remember cooking with my grandma. It never felt like a chore. I miss her so much. She’s been gone 7 years and it feels like a life time. Y’all remind me so much of me her and my sister in the kitchen. I remember cooking greens with her. She would give me instructions every single time we made them. I been cooking since I was 14 & I’m 38 now. I didn’t need instructions. I’m happy she did that because every time I cook greens I hear her voice in my head. ( make sure you clean them greens good, I don’t want dirt in my greens, don’t forget to tare that stem off, it take to long to cook.) An she always said (I always add a little pork to my greens. That’s what make em taste good) Sometimes I laugh and sometimes I cry. I love being with my grandparents.

Yum! 😋. Oxtails are amazing! Especially their gravy! My German mother cooked them for me when I was a child growing up in the UK. She taught me to brown them and cook in a pressure cooker…
I’m marinating my ox tails overnight tonight so will let you know how my Valentines Day feast goes. I brought her flowers, chocolates, a musical card “ making my dreams come true” and Strawberry Ice Cream and Sherbet today and Homemade Sourdough Bread , beans, veggies, kabobs, and Ox Tails tomorrow. Touchdown as she is my Moss Point, Mississippi girl, with snow 3 feet here in the Utah Mountains. Love your passion and recipes.

@@GrandmaDathysKitchen , I was at Sam’s today looking to purchase Ox Tails , as I had on my list. But to no avail , they did not have. Other meats on my list they had, chicken thighs, rack of lamb, lamb chops, (I had extensive weight loss surgery and for some reason, lamb fits perfect for me) in a year and 2 months I’ve lost 236lbs. I still love to cook and eat a very small amounts. I also got shrimp, scallops, ground beef, sausage, bacon. I believe your gorgeous ox tails could be similar to my lamb. Tender with melt in your mouth tasty. I know a nearby store that has ox tail so I’ll get this week. I’m about to post a new video with all our snow in the mountains and I give you credit for the very delicious rice pudding. Wow it was great.
