You explain these ideas very well, thank you for this video. I have taken a long journey through what might be best described as "modern yoga". It is a concoction of ill-informed ideas that have been hacked out of their original context, of the beautiful teachings of ancient India. As I listen to you describe the authentic teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, it makes me realise more and more how inadequate and how damaging "modern yoga" is to these glorious spiritual texts. Likewise, as I study Patanjali's teachings in detail, it is obvious to me that he would not recognise, nor would he approve, the yoga as it is practiced and taught in the modern era. It is illuminating to hear such beautiful ideas presented today as they likely were thousands of years ago. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your spiritual journey and observations. Humbled to help you on that journey as fellow traveler.
