Every female needs to watch this - I lost a huge amount of weight which I thought would make me happy but in fact whilst I lost the weight, I gained anxiety, depression, suicidal and intrusive thoughts, I couldn’t work, I used alcohol at family gatherings to get through it and I couldn’t be a parent. Eating, nourishing my mind and body with love and being happy and knowing I am beautiful inside and out regardless of what anyone else thinks totally frees you. You are so so right that you do really need to love yourself first. Amazing video and huge love to you for helping to spread the self love word. You’re glorious xxxxx
The world 🌎 would be a better place if there was more Rosie’s in it💖. Well done Rosie ☺️ using your platform to promote kindness and good mental health. You’re an inspiration 🥰 x
Jealousy, and some people can't stand to see others with positive attributes that they don't have themselves. Ms. Henshaw has a full package. She's beautiful inside and out, she's clever and confident and speaks out. ❤
When ppl are not happy with themselves they can’t accept that someone else can be and want that person to be as miserable as them. Says a lot about them .. sad really !!!
I work in palliative care and boy does it bring home just how fleeting life is! Eat the cake, smile at strangers (even the ones that are scowling - we don't know their battles - or they might just be arseholes haha)... you are awesome, Rosie. Thank you for the beautiful message xxx
As a Nurse, who has also been privileged to share the last days and moments of people's lives, I also know that life is so short and so very precious. At the end, it matters not one jot how much we weighed, how we looked , or if we fitted into Societies idea of ' beauty'. Be free to just be happy that you are Loved and Healthy, living in a Beautiful World. Lets all try to make it a better World by being Kind to ourselves and others. Love ourselves ... There's a difference between Eating Healthily, to be well and live longer ( essential, I am a Nurse, after all!!) and worrying about our looks to fit into Societies 'norms and expectations' We need to be more 'Rosie', bring Sunshine into our lives and those who we know and love' As she so truly says "Comparison is indeed the thief of Joy.!!" I've known Eating Disorders, Depression, Anxiety and much loss in my life. More importantly, I had people, both friends and Professional, (and my Beloved Husband who I know adores me, no matter what ) who led me out of those dark times. Love yourselves, live in the Light , seek Help if you need to. It's OK to not be 'perfect' because, guess what? None of us are. It's enough to be Happy, Healthy, and Joyful. To receive Love and to give it. THATS what this life is here to teach us. Kindness, Compassion and Love. They're what we CAN take with us, and also leave behind in the Memory of those who knew and Loved us. Our greatest Inheritance to the World.
Rosie I'm nearly old enough to be your grandmother (just nearly 😄) and echo everything you've just said. You're a beautiful woman both inside and out and until someone learns to love themselves they will never be happy with their life. You've found the inner contentment which has nothing to do with material possessions or what others think of you and Gary is so lucky to have you as his wife! Keep on being you - just perfect as you are!
Hello Rosie. Please just delete any negative comments. You are a beautiful, talented, confident and most important happy person and we love watching you. X
Recently I turned 60 and I can honestly say that I have finally accepted I am what I am and people can take me or leave me. I’m like you Rosie a naturally curvy girl and after yo-yo dieting since I was 16 I’ve finally accepted this is me and stopped and have thrown away my scales. I now eat what I like, I wear what I like and I’m actually finally happy with me! Rosie you are such an inspiration and I look forward to every one of your videos. Carry on being you, you are a joy 💕 Oh by the way love that dress have I missed it in a try on?🥰
Hi Rosie. You are, without doubt, one of my favourite You Tubers. Your honesty, your humour, and your lovely smiling face are so refreshing. In my opinion, there is no such thing as perfection. Life really is short and so many people spend time wishing for things they could have rather than being grateful for what they actually do have.I honestly don’t care about the size, looks or weight of someone and loving yourself and having confidence is the secret to a wonderful character. I used to be so slim and now I’m a size 14 but I’m happy, have a loving and wonderful family and am so grateful for so many elements of my life which have no connection with aesthetics. Comparison is the thief of joy- what an amazing quote! You have a gorgeous family and ignore anyone who makes negative comments as the problem is with them. Thank you so much for this video - I know it will help so many people and wishing you and your family all the happiness in the world.💖🌸
I am blown away by this video! ❤ SO TRUE when you said your happiest memories would still have been your happiest no matter how big or small you were. You are wise beyond your years 💖 xxx
Hi Rosie, it's michelle from australia here. Loving this chat, but my heart just broke when you told us some of the things people have said. I can't get my head around how awful people can be. To me as a 57 year old womwn woman i feel we need to lift each other up not put each other down. We all have periods in our life when we feel low and have no confidence and may be filled with self loathing, that's when we need to be supported not ridiculed and abused. Sometimes we feel great and feel we could rule the world but we still need support and love. You are so right when you say being thin isn't the answer to confidence and happiness, accepting yourself with all your imperfections and your amazing qualities is key. Life goes on no matter how we look no matter what size we are it's up to us to find a way to love ourselves and then we can love others. You really cheer us up stay true to youself and keep the vlogs coming. Xx
Omg, I am so happy and grateful that you uploaded this video, looking at how many comments you have received, you have obviously reached out to so many, so thank for sharing. I am at the age of 60, just finding myself after spending my life trying to fit in, wanting what everyone else had. And to be honest it never made me truly happy, I also missed out on so much. My divorce will be finalised next week and I’m just beginning to understand me and to just be happy with who I am and what I have. I still have a few hurdles to get over, but I’m taking one step at a time, trying to not to overload my life. Keep doing what you do, we all love you for being you xxx
Thank you for this chat today Rosie. So many of us need reminding to be kind to ourselves. I am a lot older than you but unfortunately I have wasted a lot of my life worrying about my weight, my looks, comparing myself unfavourably to others etc. Yet when I look at old photographs Im often surprised how nice I looked.
Rosie I have been in tears since the beginning of this video. I'm am 53 and have hated myself my whole life. I have always been overweight and have been made fun of. I search the internet every day for the magical pill that will take it all away. You have helped me so much in this short time. I'm truly so thankful. You are a beautiful soul and you deserve all the goodness the world has to offer. This is truly from my heart. Thank you and have a blessed day💕🙂💐.
You are the kindest person..❤️ I lost my mum just over a year ago ,she was my best friend ,I have tons of friends but no one like my mum ,but when I listen you ,I switch off from my grief and concentrate on what you says and I feel calm again..I'm a size 12 and I feel insecure but then again I felt insecure at size 8 and size 10 ,so I think your right ,size doesn't matter ,be confident in your own skin and you will shine brighter ❤️👍
I loved this. I was brought up to always look good , be slim and be aware ofwhat people thought of me. Over time I just felt I was not been me and was not good enough not been me. In my career as a Breast Care Nurse I saw thousands of women having surgery and tried to encourage them to embrace their bodies post surgery. I still at 68 worry what people think of me ie how I dress , how I look and it makes me miserable. I think you area beautiful person inside and out and when I watch your channel you always make me laugh and smile. Thank you for this chatI really needed to listen to this Rosie ❤️
Hi I'm 64 and was brought up the same as you .Rosie is so wise for her age think we need to take a leaf out of her book and start enjoying are bodies and life xxx
I think I was brought up to be too concerned with looks etc as my mother saw that as the only valuable thing women had to offer. But I realised once i hit 50, that at that age people don't expect much of you & don't see you as attractive anyway, so it's sort of a relief in a way .
Hi Rosie, loved this chat as I’m in a big rut because of worrying about what people think of me and what I think about myself that I missed my sister’s wedding mist family party’s lots of things because I feel shit about myself and I get so much anxiety when I do go out but I need to really listen to what you have said so thanks again for that little chat ❤❤❤
Thanks for this, I'm 60 this year and everything you say is so true. However long we have have left is too short to waste time worrying about what other people think.
Rosie, what an ambassador you are for women. You don't make excuses if you put on a few pounds, you call it as it is, christmas chocolate or whatever season it is. Confidence comes from acceptance of yourself so it does not matter what size you are. Confidence comes from wearing things that make you feel good or happy again no matter what your size, and for believing in yourself and who you are. You always look beautiful in whatever you wear because all of that and the make up is just enhancement, the beauty comes from within, from a good heart and an acceptance of who you are. Please don't ever change and sod the nasties out there, they are just jealous because no matter their size they cannot compare to you and they know it. Most of the dieters end up putting more weight back on anyway because as you said it is a lifestyle change. I don't feel so bloated if I avoid bread and dairy, but I still eat it when I want to. Like you I buy clothes that suit my frame and that bring me joy, and I always get compliments. I, like you would love everyone to feel that confidence and sometimes all of us have to fake it to make it if we are not feeling 100%.. To all you beautiful ladies out there, be happy, be the best you can be and I can guarantee that that is much better than those horrible, shallow people out there. Good luck, much love and all the happiness in the world to you all. xxxx❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Rosie for the chat. I'm 55 and when I was about 40 I was offered a cake and someone called me a skinny b***h and that I didn't need to lose any weight. I wasn't on a diet, I just didn't fancied a cake! I'm a size 12/14 now and I'm just working on eating healthier. Some people can be so rude! Life has definately taught me to try and embrace what I have, be thankful and confidence naturally comes with it. xx
What a lovely chat Rosie , I've always had the the mindset of just being kind can go a long way ❤ Thank you for your kindness Rosie and reaching out to those who have really needed to hear that today Sending everyone lots of love ❤️
After been through a very tough few years I have come out the other side stronger and being proud of myself and what I weigh is completely irrelevant. I used to worry about my weight and what other people thought of me but I've realised people are going to judge anyway and I am past caring. What's important is loving yourself for who you are right now because time is so so precious. Spend time with the ones that you love ❤
Rosie, what a fantastic video! 😊 Thank you so much! This needs to be said so often and drilled in so people (including me) believe it! You are such a ray of sunshine ☀️ and put things into words so beautifully. Xx
This is fabulous! I was chubby as a child and still remember being made fun of in school. I didn't let it bother me! I always thought those people were insecure. I love myself, am happy, have a wonderful husband, kids, grandchildren and friends. I am a healthy almost 73 year old! Love you Rosie! You bring such joy to other people! 🙂♥️
Thank you so much Rosie for just being you . I can connect with so much of what you said. I'm in my my 70th year and have stopped caring about what people think. Life is much better now. Big hug for you ❤❤.
I don’t usually comment but this is just what I needed to hear! Absolutely love this! Been feeling down for the last year or so and I keep thinking, ‘if I’m thinner, people will treat me better or respect me more/like me more.’ But I know deep down, I need to like me more! Thank you Rosie x
It’s hard to not think this if I’m honest. We are shown all over the tv or in films that the “thinner” women get it all the the more “chubby” girls are the funny friend. This is so rubbish! You are respected on your beautiful soul and if someone doesn’t because you are not thin. Then you probably don’t want respect from them shallow idiots anyway. You are amazing just as you are. ❤️ Thankyou for messaging babe sending you big hugs and hope you have a fab Easter weekend xxx
You are an old wise head on such young shoulders. I thought for a minute you were going to say you weren’t doing any more of your videos. So was relieved when I listened a bit more. I really hope your chat has helped lots of people who are down on themselves. We all need a “ Rosie” in our lives. Well said xx
Hi Rosie I was on my way home from work been feeling really down about myself lately and watch your video it made me cry (yes on the bus in front of everyone) But by the time I made it to my front door I felt just that little better about myself so thank you ❤
Hi Rosie, how amazing are you! You are such a beautiful person, inside and out and so wise!! I don’t think I have ever sent a message on RUclips before but your words really hit home. I’m 59 and it’s took me to this age to realise a lot that you are talking about. Keep doing what you are doing, I really look forward to your videos and keep being YOU 💕 Tina xx
I really agree with you Rosie, about 7 years ago I got help and ended my marriage after 22 years off abuse. I then lost so much weight and everyone assumed I was happy but I was so lost and stressed with 6 kids and trying to price a life together again. Im now a bit heavier but so much more content and my confidence is growing. Thanks you for this video we all need to hear this xxx
Aw Rosie, so relatable. 20 years ago a child told me I had a big nose and a fat tummy. I hear those words every day and have never forgot it. I have almost zero confidence and it's all about how I look. 😢 Please sprinkle some confidence my way ! 😊😊 ❤❤
You are completely fabulous Rosie, love everything about your channel, such a lovely place on the internet, one of my most favorites to watch. Thank you ❤
Such a wise and kind soul. Loved this chat ❤ I'm pleased you uploaded this, it's set me up for the day in all honesty. Sending you loads of love and positivity from Durham xx
I have been watching your channel for 2 and a half years now I started in lockdown when I was pregnant with my first child, I can honestly say your videos cheer me up it's so refreshing to see a person like you on RUclips who is 100% themselves and not pretending to be anything else, you are amazing and never stop being you 🤗
I really appreciate this babe Thankyou! ❤️🥰 also a belated congratulations 🎉 hats off to you hunni as having a baby during lockdown could not have been easy! Xxx
@@Rosiehenshawhome it was and it wasn't although the time off was nice I got furloughed at 3 months so I was off most of my pregnancy and never went back, I've now got two little boys I put one of your videos on the other day and my 5 month old was giggling and smiling at you on the TV 😂
Grateful for having found you years ago Rosie...your more than my inspiration!! You've genuinely helped so many with your positive thinking, particularly with this chat...❤xx
How can people not like you, you seem so genuinely lovely, have just started watching you and you seem so relatable, so down to earth which is lovely. your bubbly personality, love you always come across as being so happy. Your a breath of fresh air Rosie. 😊😊😊
That was simply beautiful Rosie 🥰 I shall ask my 14 yr old to listen to this as you speak so much sense and I think you spoke so eloquently. I think she would really listen to someone like you, so thankyou 🙏🏼
Lovely Rosie brightening the day. So well said. I’m not confident at all but every day l try to tell someone they look nice or they have a nice outlook etc. I work in a shop and speak to so many people and love it but little do they know I’m not really that person all the time. I think we have to spread some kindness in this world and it will come back to you tenfold. Keep up the good work. Even my husband asks “ what is Rosie showing us we can get at B and M for Easter as we need to get it early’ 😂A compliment goes a long way and makes the recipient happy and makes me happy to do it for them. Mind you I’m not very good at taking a compliment but working on that. Keep up the good work and have a lovely Easter 🐣 with your beautiful family. Loved this chat, thanks for doing it xx
Thank you Rosie, I was brought up being told I needed to lose weight and being made to feel I wasn't good enough. It still affects me now and I am in my 50's.
My goodness Rosie how could anyone not like you....your the most loveliest, funny and beautiful person I don't know you but have followed your videos for ages...and think your amazing you make me smile I love seeing your videos...keep being you. I'm a size 16 with curves...I love chocolate and if I fancy a cake I'll have one. From looking at all your followers your very well loved ❤
A huge "Thankyou" for sharing that powerful chat with us today , it was just what I needed. I agree 100% with everything you said. We are all here for a VERY short time , so enjoy every moment being YOU, not somebody who other people want or expect you to be. You're a gorgeous person Rosie and I truly wish more people were like you 💕 xx
oooft, I am actually crying at this video, now 71 and you have just spoken about my life in the past and and sadness that I have went through this year losing both my much younger sisters to cancer. I needed to grieve and not be strong for everyone else. Tears are flowing but I know it needed to come out. Your an amazing person Rosie ❤
Rosie u have posted this just when I needed it…seriously. I have been on and off diets since I was about 8….I’m now 56 Because I was a bit chubby and from then on my weight has been the pain of my life I’ve had many people in my life feel like it’s their duty to comment on my weight and make me feel I wasn’t worth anything unless I was slim , even had a boyfriend who said he couldn’t go out with me anymore as he couldn’t go out with someone fat ( I was only 10st at the time). I’ve struggled with my mental health anyway and people commenting on my weight doesant help.but yesterday I weighed myself and due to menopause it’s gone up and my heart dropped..I can’t do another diet not another slimming club I have had enough I’ve finally realised (bit late in the day) that I’m only losing weight for others ..I’m generally happy being me but it’s other people that have a problem with my size.thank you for reinforcing my thoughts that were in my head.I am much more than the number on a scale and I’m not going on another bloody diet .and I can relate about constantly worrying about if other people are judging me……thank u for the video…..has helped me 😘
You are so so down to earth. As the saying goes "You do you". It's a lot easier to be nice to people than it is to be horrible or judgemental about them it take so much out of you.
We all need a bit of Rosie in our lives!! You are one amazing lady. I’m so glad my lovely friend recommended your channel to me. You are a beautiful Person Rosie, inside and out ❤️
Hi Rosie, lovely listening to you. You raised many valuable points and addressed them in a kind and sensitive way. You're very real☺️ you are yourself and that's what's beautiful about your channel.
I am old enough to be your mum I absolutely love watching you.❤ You always put a smile on my face the only thing that matters is that you have a loving family around you some people are vile and need to take a long look at themselves before opening their mouths ❤❤❤❤
Loved this Rosie! You’re so down to earth and approachable! I’m a 58 yr old woman who came to your channel recently and have shared you with the younger females in my life! I really enjoy all that you do! The charity shopping/ B&M Hauls / upcycles/ try ons!! This was an especially lovely Video- thank you for doing your best to help people be their best!! ❤
Thank you dear Rosie , you are so wise. It is wonderful that young people have you tube to watch and such a lovely person to learn from. Never change, you are beautiful and perfect. 🎉
Love you Rosie. You are a beautiful lady and are saying everything I too feel . Having a rough time at the moment and my confidence has gone . Thank you Rosie. X
Sorry your currently riding the wave and feeling not great. Sending you the biggest hugs ❤️🥰 just remember how fabulous you are and how strong you are for feeling this low and still pushing through xx
Rosie I could relate to this video so much!! ❤ when I was younger I was tiny and so obsessed with my weight and I wasn’t happy - I would look in the mirror and pick myself apart. Now I’m a size 16 and more confident and happier than ever! You are totally right about mental health effecting physical health- great video xx
I’ve been here for years now and used to wait for a pumpkin craft videos around Halloween😂 but this is so heartwarming! I’ve been dealing with hate on one of my videos in regards to someone else and it’s knocked me and my confidence so much! This is exactly what I needed today! You are an amazing lady and you are such an inspiration to all of us! Keep it up girl🥰❤️❤️xxxx
Your a lovely person Rosie don't change for anybody slim or overweight you have a lovely family and a lovely home you have a lovely personality and you're right time goes so quickly
You are gorgeous! I’m 77. And finally found my soulmate! I love your style. You look stunning in every outfit. I’m down 25 lbs but have a long way to go. My man thinks I’m fine the way I am. Thanks, Rosie!❤😊
Hi, I only found your videos a few weeks ago and am catching up on your older ones, you are a breath of fresh air, full of enthusiasm for life , i am sure your happy smiling face cheers lots of people, you talked such sense in this vlog , life is short so we need to make the most of it, the years just fly by, I can't believe that I am 81, where has it gone , but I still love clothes and make up and enjoy time with family and friends , I have been especially fortunate to now have 2 year old great granddaughter and a 5 month old great grandson, keep up the good work , looking forward to some crafting videos for things I can do with Nellie ,take care x
You are amazing! Rosie...listening to you speak here, is like hearing my inner thoughts being heard for the first time. I'm the same weight, size & shape as you & I've never seen anyone online that I've resembled until you. I hope you know what you're doing for so many of us & the amazing impact your having on people's lives 🩷 I wish I'd had a mum like you growing up.. I'd have had a very different life. Keep doing what you're doing please xxx
This chat has been amazing Rosie, the last year has been the worst heathwise, and losing my mum, and like you and thousands of others suffering with mental health issues, this has been a much needed video and I would like to say thank you Rosie, I have followed you for nearly all of your you tube life have loved all your vlogs but this has been the most needed xxx
And the thing I took from this “comparison is the thief of joy” Rosie you are incredible, and you give everyone something they can relate to and take away xx
When I was a size 10 I used to think that I was ever so fat and ugly. I spent so much energy on feeling insecure and hating myself.. Now I am a size 18 and feeling far worse about myself. I never realised that the problem wasn't my weight, but my lack of confidence and self love. Watching this video made me realise how wrong I was. Thank you Rosie, you are a lovely person 💖💖💖
Love this video! I can relate completely to it! From the worrying what others were thinking when you had no make up on etc, to eating too much and not moving enough! It’s made me think I need to boost my confidence for my children! I don’t want them to lack it like me!!! Thank you Rosie xxx
Thank you Rosie. I was on a bit of a down day as my health is playing me up and I’ve got so much on my mind but this little chat really helped me to reset my perspective. You are so inspiring! ❤
Loved that really inspired...will be using the comparison is a thief of life and stop and pause instead of saying you've failed, moving forward...just so refreshing x❤
Ah Rosie, you are lovely. If more people were like you the world would be a brighter place. I think your words will have helped people who may be struggling a bit at the moment. X
Thank you Rosie, everyone needs a friend like you. You have just put so many things into perspective and given me a wake up call. Your honesty and openness in all your videos is inspiring. I hope I can take away some point from this video to be a more confident.
You are such a lovely person so have confidence in the knowledge you bring so many people so much joy in life mental health affects everyone in some form we all have insecurities but life is too short to worry what other people think we all have past and difficulty in life but talking is the key to help get over these things life is not a rehearsal your little video was great to.listen to and sure it has helped so many people I love watching you your so funny happy and we all can see your a beautiful person be urself and fuck anyone who doesn't like you or your family values ❤❤❤
This is such a heartfelt and inspiring video Rosie... what a beautiful message, you are SO lovely!! I'm sure you had someone there with you in spirit, who loves and cares about you, when you were filming this! Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but there were very clear sparkly lights/orbs floating around you throughout this video. Some I noticed were at: 0:39, 6:43, 15:29, 16:45, 17:46, and they went crazy at the end: 29:09, 29:14 and 29:18 ...maybe you have a crystal sun catcher in your window... or fairies flying around your house 🧚♂🧚♀ but I like to think it's a guardian angel, or someone who loves you in spirit, watching over you. 💖💕💖
Your just amazing Rosie please don’t ever change! I’ve brought dresses you have and feel great which I never thought I could feel. I’m slowing learning not to care what people think thanks to you and live for my husband and children. As for the negative comments 1 of them outweighs the thousands of people you help every video. And most of the time it’s pure jealousy xx we love u Rosie!! Xx 💕💕💕
❤ Rosie...I just want to say thank you for being so open and sharing your heart... Plse know you are a shining light and you make a difference ❤. God bless you and your loved ones always 🙏🏼
Loved this Rosie. I’m 44 years old and size 16-18 I can honestly say lm more confident than ever and feel it’s down to age. I am doing slimming world not to look better but to feel better for my health. I also work in rehab/ recovery and see a lot of elderly people around me who are very poorly and it really does put life into perspective and life is short and precious ❤
So sorry for swearing you would make a great counsellor Rosie that little speech must have helped alot of people especially young mums like urself I have 4 adult daughters lots of grandkids I am very proud of them all they all very much like you I used to tell them and my grandkids when they used to argue and fight something I heard when I was a kid (along time ago lol) 'if you can't say anything nice then don't say nothing at all' but it stopped them there's alot of jealous people out there who are probably jealous of the person you are what you have in your life and the happiness and fun you give to people don't be put off by nasty comments 🎉'
You such a beautiful girl, I love listening to you , bright , happy and and so supportive xxx I live in Perth Western Australia, but I'm from Southampton uk listening to your lovely English accent make me homesick xxx..... I've had four children and have learnt to love my body stretch marks and all I'm a strong powerful woman and I've given birth to four amazing people... took sometime to get to this place, but here I am .... thank you lovely xxx
Rosie, I am 63, and I want to thank you. I lack confidence, I am so insecure. I worry daily. My weight has been an issue for my whole life.My ex husband made me feel worthless. He made me feel that I was a lesser being because I was not a size 12. Just for the record, I was a size 12 for many years, but he noticed as soon as I gained a pound.I look at photographs of myself when I was slim but know I felt inadequate the day it was taken. He said it I ended up looking like my mum, then he would finish with me.Like you, I am not sure where this is going, but I think you will get it. I just wish I understood this subject more when I was younger.
Thank goodness for sensible women
Absolutely 100% agree, she's the friend everyone needs in their life! ❤🇨🇦
How could someone not like you? 😮 You're funny, attractive, creative, smart and engaging. What's not to like.
Jealousy, and some people can't stand to see others with positive attributes that they don't have themselves. Ms. Henshaw has a full package. She's beautiful inside and out, she's clever and confident and speaks out. ❤
I agree and yep it’s completely jealously x
I love that question! “ How could someone not like you? “. Pretty hard to not like Rosie 💕
When ppl are not happy with themselves they can’t accept that someone else can be and want that person to be as miserable as them. Says a lot about them .. sad really !!!
Jealous people 😢
“Comparison is the thief of joy” what a fantastic saying! Thank you for this beautiful girl x
As the saying goes "procrastination is the theif of time" very true. Life is a learning curve.
I work in palliative care and boy does it bring home just how fleeting life is! Eat the cake, smile at strangers (even the ones that are scowling - we don't know their battles - or they might just be arseholes haha)... you are awesome, Rosie. Thank you for the beautiful message xxx
Your a beautiful soul to work in palliative care.
Thank you for your service to humanity ❤
As a Nurse, who has also been privileged to share the last days and moments of people's lives, I also know that life is so short and so very precious. At the end, it matters not one jot how much we weighed, how we looked , or if we fitted into Societies idea of ' beauty'.
Be free to just be happy that you are Loved and Healthy, living in a Beautiful World.
Lets all try to make it a better World by being Kind to ourselves and others. Love ourselves ...
There's a difference between Eating Healthily, to be well and live longer ( essential, I am a Nurse, after all!!) and worrying about our looks to fit into Societies 'norms and expectations'
We need to be more 'Rosie', bring Sunshine into our lives and those who we know and love'
As she so truly says "Comparison is indeed the thief of Joy.!!"
I've known Eating Disorders, Depression, Anxiety and much loss in my life.
A lot of people, including me, will have needed to hear this today. Thanks for all you do, Rosie. You are appreciated 💖
Thank you thank you. thank you!! You given this 62 year old the boost she needed ❤❤
You’re beautiful Liz just remember that. If your heart is pure and good then you are beautiful ❤
🎉
Carry on being you, you are a joy 💕
Oh by the way love that dress have I missed it in a try on?🥰
You are the kindest person..❤️
I lost my mum just over a year ago ,she was my best friend ,I have tons of friends but no one like my mum ,but when I listen you ,I switch off from my grief and concentrate on what you says and I feel calm again..I'm a size 12 and I feel insecure but then again I felt insecure at size 8 and size 10 ,so I think your right ,size doesn't matter ,be confident in your own skin and you will shine brighter ❤️👍
I agree women need to experience life through engaging in it,not being conscious of how we look, its tough though Rosie is a great role model,
I think I was brought up to be too concerned with looks etc as my mother saw that as the only valuable thing women had to offer. But I realised once i hit 50, that at that age people don't expect much of you & don't see you as attractive anyway, so it's sort of a relief in a way .
Judith I totally understand 😢x
Life has definately taught me to try and embrace what I have, be thankful and confidence naturally comes with it. xx
Ppl often don’t realise the effect any fleeting comment can have good or bad. Unfortunately societal standards are so warped.
What a lovely chat Rosie , I've always had the the mindset of just being kind can go a long way ❤
Thank you for your kindness Rosie and reaching out to those who have really needed to hear that today
Sending everyone lots of love ❤️
After been through a very tough few years I have come out the other side stronger and being proud of myself and what I weigh is completely irrelevant. I used to worry about my weight and what other people thought of me but I've realised people are going to judge anyway and I am past caring. What's important is loving yourself for who you are right now because time is so so precious. Spend time with the ones that you love ❤
Your positivity and bubbly personality is infectious and I just love watching your videos ☺️ you are a joyful human 🥰 thank you xx
This was a lovely conversation Rosie . I relate a lot. Mindset is everything , when you said choose to be happy is powerful ❤❤❤
You are an old wise head on such young shoulders. I thought for a minute you were going to say you weren’t doing any more of your videos. So was relieved when I listened a bit more. I really hope your chat has helped lots of people who are down on themselves. We all need a “ Rosie” in our lives. Well said xx
Hi Rosie
I was on my way home from work been feeling really down about myself lately and watch your video it made me cry (yes on the bus in front of everyone)
But by the time I made it to my front door I felt just that little better about myself so thank you ❤
Hold on to that feeling xx
Hi Rosie, how amazing are you! You are such a beautiful person, inside and out and so wise!! I don’t think I have ever sent a message on RUclips before but your words really hit home. I’m 59 and it’s took me to this age to realise a lot that you are talking about. Keep doing what you are doing, I really look forward to your videos and keep being YOU 💕 Tina xx
I’m 60 and feel exactly the same way!
Oh Rosie, I feel like you just touched my soul ❤ thank you darling x
Think she’s touched all of us today
rosie you are always a ray of sunshine , don't ever change people love you for being you.
Could I actually adore this woman anymore????!! Yep ❤❤❤ so heartwarming and can tell it comes from a kind genuine heart x thanks for caring x
Please sprinkle some confidence my way !
Rosie I come back to this video when I’m feeling low in confidence - such amazing words. ❤❤
Grateful for having found you years ago Rosie...your more than my inspiration!! You've genuinely helped so many with your positive thinking, particularly with this chat...❤xx
Well said Rosie just be yourself and live your life that’s what we should all do xx
You Lady!!! Are a true inspiration. You're kind, helpful, very caring and a beautiful soul. Wish I lived next door to you.
Ellie xxxx
Health is mental as well as physical, you're so right. Glad that you can be honest about being mentally strong and how important it is. Thank you.
Thank you Rosie, I was brought up being told I needed to lose weight and being made to feel I wasn't good enough. It still affects me now and I am in my 50's.
Keep shining your light, Beautiful Rosie. The world needs more people like you. ❤
I have been on and off diets since I was about 8….I’m now 56
Because I was a bit chubby and from then on my weight has been the pain of my life
I’ve had many people in my life feel like it’s their duty to comment on my weight and make me feel I wasn’t worth anything unless I was slim , even had a boyfriend who said he couldn’t go out with me anymore as he couldn’t go out with someone fat ( I was only 10st at the time).
You are a beautiful
Person Rosie, inside and out ❤️
Hi Rosie, lovely listening to you.
@Rosie Henshaw ❤️🫂Thank you Rosie. X
Whoever knocked your confidence don’t let them win. You are beautiful and they are the one with the issue. xx
Thank you Rosie your amazing and speak a lot of sense. I’m trying to be more confident with myself. Loving myself atm is still a working process 💕💕
Thanks for this chat. We all need to be reminded of what's important and how short live can be. Much love to you and your family 💕
What a great message you put out there . Sod slimming world , I think we could all do with Rosie’s world . Thank you x
I just wanted to send you some love ... small steps are all you need to keep moving xxx
Rosie you always were and are a pure pleasure to to watch and so wise ..Thankyou Beautiful .. 💗
And the thing I took from this “comparison is the thief of joy” Rosie you are incredible, and you give everyone something they can relate to and take away xx
Hey lovely 🥰 Thankyou so much for taking the time to message and be kind ❤️ have a wonderful Easter weekend xx
Oh Rosie! Well done… we love you ❤
Thank you Rosie. I was on a bit of a down day as my health is playing me up and I’ve got so much on my mind but this little chat really helped me to reset my perspective. You are so inspiring! ❤
Good on you girl !!!
I usually don’t comment, but that was beautiful and thank you for spreading positivity and letting people know that it’s ok to be themselves!
You are such a sweetheart thank you for being honest and for being you xx
Thankyou lovely 🥰
I absolutely love this. It made me laugh and cry. Everything you said makes complete sense. Thank you Rosie. Xx
Thank you Rosie, everyone needs a friend like you. You have just put so many things into perspective and given me a wake up call. Your honesty and openness in all your videos is inspiring. I hope I can take away some point from this video to be a more confident.
Your a legend ❤, we definitely need more Rosies in our world, you brighten up our days, keep up the great work and we all love you 😊
You are such a lovely person so have confidence in the knowledge you bring so many people so much joy in life mental health affects everyone in some form we all have insecurities but life is too short to worry what other people think we all have past and difficulty in life but talking is the key to help get over these things life is not a rehearsal your little video was great to.listen to and sure it has helped so many people I love watching you your so funny happy and we all can see your a beautiful person be urself and fuck anyone who doesn't like you or your family values ❤❤❤
Aww Thankyou ❤️💕 I don’t have a crystal light catcher I always feel loved ones around me though so it’s probably them popping in to see me xx 😘
Rosie, I'd like to say thank you for being you! I love your videos. you're always so kind, caring, and sweet natured. 💝💕💝
We need more people like you in this world Rosie, people can be so cruel 😢
Your just amazing Rosie please don’t ever change! I’ve brought dresses you have and feel great which I never thought I could feel. I’m slowing learning not to care what people think thanks to you and live for my husband and children. As for the negative comments 1 of them outweighs the thousands of people you help every video. And most of the time it’s pure jealousy xx we love u Rosie!! Xx 💕💕💕
Thanks for your wise and kind words gorgeous Rosie ❤ it breaks my heart to think of how much life I’ve wasted on hating the way I look
Thank you for this Rosie, this is exactly what I needed to hear! You’re an inspiration. 🥰
Such wise words, this really spoke to me! Yes it even made me cry, but has really changed my mindset in a huge way! 💕
You are an inspiration to many of us ignore the haters Rosie you have nothing to prove to them you are natural ,normal and loved 🥰
Rosie, never change..you are a lovely person inside and out. I love your chats and videos and you give me confidence to love my body x
