Speaking of blenders I stopped soaking mine... now I just spray my toner (Hatomugi skin conditioner) 2-3× on the sponge and do my BB cream~ Works well, doesn't soak up the product and makes application easier and feels moist then absorbs, looks dewy but not wet~ I set it up after with powder~

The canmake primer I used in my Hakone GRWM (it's called Lasting Eye Base I believe, but you can find the full name in the info box of that video) is really good. I'm SUPER lazy in terms using eye primer, but that one is like the No. 1 drugstore eyeprimer for so many years

I lived in Shizuoka from 2002 to 2008 but must say that tokyo is quite big and you can easily get lost there so I really enjoyed your tips! Well, no wonder you look so much more put together than me..... you have about 70 more steps than my makeup routine.😅 I will definitely look into that primer you used! My T zone sucks! It’s so hard to find products that don’t me me look like I’m a melted candle at the end of a long day.
Also try Ettusais oil block base. Just put it wherever you get most oily (for me it's on my nose and forehead). It's a small tube but goes a long way and keeps your face much more fresh
Oh those brushes I used in this video are new ones I recently bought so I tend to favor them more at the moment haha, but the Muji ones are still amazing! They just weren't clean when I filmed this, so I just grabbed whatever I had on my vanity. The Muji ones are still among my faves and more affordable than the Sephora ones

I own a few high-end makeup brushes, but for my daily use I keep reaching for the [cheap] brushes I got from Bath & Body Works. I enjoy watching your videos, and you've done a great job with the contents. 👍👍
I want to try Hakuhodo so much but just cannot justify the price. Tbh it kills me even to buy the Sephora brushes. Since the brushes included with the compact actually work quite well in Japan (even though they are tiny, they work fine and way more convenient, I'm lazy lol), and I can find lots of good brushes for cheap, it's so hard to go spend the money to try Hakuhodo. But if I get to try them one day, I'll share for sure!
It's not great, and that's a common issue in Japan. It goes to about medium skin tone, basically covers all the skin tones Asian people would have. The one I used is the lightest color (at least in the "older" version which I have, so the new version's shade might be different) and have 3 other shades that are darker
