I've always wondered how these twisted cords were made. Now I know. Excellent video!! I'm not 100% certain that I followed Method 3 (the crochet one), so I'll watch it a few more times to be sure "I get it."

So glad you learned how to make them! They’re good techniques to know so you can jazz up many kinds of projects. No worries, the crochet twist took me a little time to get used to as well (hard for me to keep lengths consistent).

    Hello,
I have just finished knitting the throw size of this blanket pattern (it turned out awesome)! I love all the photos if seen or your blanket online and would love to mimic the same fringe you used. Could you please indicate which method you use, and if you used the 4 strand method or the 2 strand modified method you have shown in the video? I am also unsure of spacing are you leaving gaps at all between the twists? Thank you!

HI!! That is great, so glad you like your finished blanket!! The fringe I used was #2, the crossover twist method, but with the 2 strand modification. Also, I did skip 2 stitches in between each piece of fringe. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi can someone tell me approximately how many skeins of yarn I should save back to make the fringe for the arctic throw?
