Mine just came on Saturday, Nov 12. I just had time tonite to play it.
Absolutely stunning! I ordered from Heritage. They sent me pics as it was being finished.
Mike and I communicated throughout the process. What an incredible experience!
Your reaction, the enthusiasm, very similar experience to mine ... Thank you!

Excellent playing. The H-535 is so versatile. Goes great with a cup of tea! Mine is in Almond burst.

I have a core H-535 in dark cherry burst. I plan on being buried with it.

Nice that’s sick. I got the 530 but thinking I should of got that 535 for those overdriven tones.

Do you think it’s too crisp and bright sounding? I tried one out and the crafting was outstanding but wasn’t a fan of bright pick ups. If they offer it with pick ups with extended low and shimmery high would be a really nice alternative. However Im no expert.

Awesome vid - btw when you ship a guitar, supposedly you are supposed to loosen the strings quite a bit.

You kill me, last time you tested the musicmaster I bought it, now this one, I need to make money faster. Awesome guitar, it seems to be a really good alternative to Gibson

Such a shame that Heritage sold the company to a Chinese one in 2016. Apparently the new owners totally cleaned house, got rid of most of the builders that had been there for decades. The remaining ones quit and said that the new personnel doesn’t care about quality, only that no errors are made in the production process. Looks like they’ve gone the Gibson route: compromising craftsmanship for financial gain :(

I bought one recently and the quality is superb, can’t fault it. Im not sure of the exact specifics of what happened but one thing I do know, don’t believe everything you read or hear. one thing I do think though in light of the change of ownership is that heritage is doing a lot better now business wise. The guitars are getting out there and more and more people know about them. I’m very happy to be a heritage owner.

@@ZandJ12345 My guitar tech personally knows two of the original master builders, this isn’t hearsay. You can look it up too, there are plenty of articles about it. I have a Heritage H-535 from 2012 (pre-sellout) and the craftsmanship is noticeably better than the 2019 model a friend of mine has. They may very well be doing better business wise, in fact that’s kind of my point. The shame is that they gutted the company and fired the original builders who had been there from the beginning just to sell out to another buyer. So yes, they’re doing better financially, but it’s just not the same company.
