As it turned out, I had a meet and greet with them soon after this video came out, and I said to them that they looked like they had a lot of fun filming the video. They quickly agreed and said they had a blast. I love “More” too, especially live.

Saw them with Muse (check out ‘Kill or be killed’ ) and Royal Blood (check out ‘ Typhoon’) this summer and they were amazing live. Never seen so much amazing music produced by a group of bands with so few members. The Warning (3) Muse (3) and Royal Blood(2). Have been a Muse fan for over 20 years but was converted to the Warning and Royal Blood on the spot.

Yeah, a little different sound. They wrote with other people this time. Plus, you get some of them being influenced by Muse, one of their favorite bands. Tons of Easter Eggs in the video too, including an appearance by Petunia, their hand held video camera that is usually with them all the time on tour. The aspect ration being another of those, the video starts at 4:3 and widens throughout the song ,finishing at 16:9.

Great reaction Rachael, I’m really glad you enjoyed this one! It was a bit of a departure for them but I think it’s part of how they’re evolving. Their lyrics are always really good and often with a dark or a theme open to interpretation, always interesting especially considering their age on a lot of the older songs.
I think there are two possible paths to take for a follow up, first a softer song from them that has a very dark meaning - Revenant, Live from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX is the best one. Second, Marterio, a song in their own language that has an interesting meaning - it’s about martyrdom in literal terms but leaves you open to interpretation.

RUclips's algorithm just now led me to this video. I don't know how much you know about this band so if I'm "over-splaining," forgive me. The Warning is INCREDIBLE and they have a HUGE CATALOGUE of fantastic songs. You could probably make an entire career out of reacting to just their work. They do this "semi-tonal" slide with their singing (up and down) a lot--in fact, it's one of the many unique features of this GREAT BAND. You know they aren't using auto-tune when you hear stuff like that because the app would snap their vocals to the nearest note. Great review and YOU ARE TOTALLY AWESOME!

I can be a bit of a Metal snob so when I see bands play simple stuff I'm usually turned off right away. I've also never cared much for female rock bands as I found them to be a bit cringe for my taste. Needless to say I never understood the The Warning hype, that was until this song!
Judging off just a few songs it seems it's not always about things like complexity or incredible depth with them, but it's about writing good, catchy songs that you can bop to, which they did phenomenally with this song.
I also really like their fashion style. Very 90s its refreshing to see young women be themselves. Theyre all cute and have good voices, good song writing. They killed it. 👍

@@jrpikasso13 Hehe I'm not quite that old I'm only 33, born in 90. You sound like you were around with my parents tearing up the streets and music clubs. Will say I'm a bit jealous as the Metal music scenes today are a lot more dead and boring compared to the 70s 80s and 90s.
That said I'll say chauvinism has nothing to do with my not liking female bands. I think there's been some great classic female artists. The Wilson sisters of Heart, Stevie and Christine of Fleetwood Mac. But most female rock artists, especially entire ensembles when pertaining to Rock and Metal just were never that good imo. Has little to do with solely their gender and more to do with the skill level of women in rock or metal at the time and also the idea of women trying to look "tough", which has always just been a turn off for guys like me.
Some things just work and some things don't. Seems it's always been very hard for women to "hit the mark" when it comes to Rock music. But that's just my opinion, I'm glad female artists have been able to enrich your life but just never did much for me.

Easter Eggs!! this video is so full of Easter Eggs! there's everything from gifts from fans to actual situations that happened IRL at concerts... Dani's donut pillow, Ale's Bass guitar, the Dr. Simi dolls, Ale getting up off the carpet while playing, Ale's cable falling out of the More Box, and Petunia, their camcorder they use(d) everywhere, even makes an appearance... the best Easter Egg, though, is the video's screen ratio... it starts off at the old 4:3 and then steadily progresses to today's 16:9 as the video moves along... the screen ratio movement is a relentless expansion and might be seen as a metaphor of DPA/TW's upward trajectory in the industry... they are moving fast and are certainly not genre-locked 😹

What amazes me is how every song can stand up to repeat listens, and you hear something new every time due to the level of detail and care put into each in the way they constantly mix it up to stay engaging. I've seen this video so many times, and only recently noticed (because it was pointed out by another listener) that the aspect ratio of the video itself is expanding constantly from the first second to the very last. There is so much happening in the video itself, I guess it's easy to miss!

Glad to see you liked this song, it’s been a little divisive amongst their fans (at least on RUclips) because of the obvious pop influences. I really like you calling the song “fun”, because that’s how I describe the song to people as well. It’s not my favorite song of theirs, but it’s still a good song (and amazing live) and I appreciate that they are not afraid of experimenting with their sound. And even if it’s not one of my favorites, I have to admit the vocals and harmonies are great. Halestorm is one of the bands many influences (especially for Dany), so they’d be thrilled to hear that comparison. Enjoyed the reaction, keep them coming.

@@OrangePony75 This is, this song has very little to do with their generation. This doesn't sound like anything the typical Gen Z-er would release, because a lot of the influence here is before their time. Me being a millennial? There were a LOT of things in the music and the video that feel like it's straight out of the 90's.

Hi! Your reactions to this band are absolutely the best l have seen on here: It is just so addictive to see your excitement . I absolutely love them as well, though, l just found out about them a couple of days ago.

I think this is a statement song from them telling people yeah they could be a pop band with minimal talent but they have the talent to rock hard with the best talents in hardcore rock.Oh wait they are one of the best.

If you remove the vocals this sounds like a Rob Zombie song.
