I was looking for a K25 and they had five different ones available plus a K28. I got a K25 Etoupe. Sadly I was not allowed to get more than one quota bag 🤣

I think once you have a good relationship with a SA then it could potentially be easier for future visits. I'm so happy for you! Also, I know others have asked about sharing SA contact info but for many many reasons people can't share that information, in addition it's also a breach of trust as the sales associates share the information privately and ask clients not to share their contact details. I know it's tough when you've been waiting so long, trust me I understand, I waited since 2016 for my first Birkin or Kelly and I finally got my first one last year in 2021 so it was nearly 5 years I waited. It will happen for you PetitLune eventually though 🧡

It's not dumb at all and in fact sadly I've experienced many times the difference between even a 'simple' LV bag I'm wearing vs when I wear my classic flap Chanel or my Hermes I'm 'taken seriously' 😒Thankfully not every sales associate will care at all with what we're wearing but some do. I still have the sakura birkin but I'm too scared to travel with it since it's such a delicate color and leather. I actually got an appointment at Hermes so exciting news is coming once I'm back and I was wearing my non designer Polene handbag 🥳💗

Personally I think most people get the bag not just for status (sure that is what some do get it for, even subconsciously if they don't think they are) but ultimately many purchase these bags because it's a work of art, every little detail, the different styles, sellier vs retourne etc. One that is not real is never going to be the same as the real one no matter how 'real' it looks so I don't think the majority of people would do this, especially if they have the funds to buy an Hermes Birkin or Kelly. But people are all individuals and every one makes their own decisions.
You're the best! I say go for it, I'd suggest to just be discreet. Since I've been creating these luxury vlogs for a long time now I've learned that A) if I have a relationship with a sales associate at any given store, it's much easier to vlog since they know me and let me film discreetly but when I don't have a contact, for example when I'm travelling like I am now in Paris, in the past if I go in and ask right off the bat for 'permission' to film - they get confused/not sure why I want to film and immediately tell me no - there have been a few exceptions but generally the best practice is to just see if other people are taking photos of the bags they're trying on etc and if it feels like an okay atmosphere to discreetly film then I say go for it. And in my case, I literally came to Paris just to create content for my channel 🥹🥲 so I make sure to not do anything that will make the store/team/security potentially ask me not to film. Hi! Getting the appointment is the hardest part. It's a lottery system, you apply the day before for an appointment for the following day when you're in Paris. So every day, often 20K - 50K people apply and there's less than 100 appointments per day. Of course not every one of those 100 people who got a lottery appointment will get a bag or even want a birkin or kelly (they might want one of their other bags that are not as popular, or they may want exotics which is not as popular etc.) but many do get a bag, although they may be offered one they don't like the color of etc.. So once you get your appointment you have a good chance, and you get it right away, they ask what you want, you tell them, and they go check the stock that day to see if they have something to offer you to purchase. If they have something, they'll be back in roughly 15 minutes with your bag. Hope this helps 🧡
