Another way in to the kpop arena for you is AleXa -- react to her "Bomb (rock version) feat. Diablo" which is metal AF, Diablo in this case being a S. Korean metal band. That's a performance video, for her story videos (and there is a sci-fi concept & story threaded throughout most of her MV's) watch them in order: "Bomb", "Do Or Die", "Villain" (no relation to the KDA song), and "Revolution". iHeartRadio has an all-English version of the lattermost. Optionally, after "Villain", follow a tangential story via her collab with gaming music creator TheFatRat "Rule The World". AleXa is actually American, so she grew up with and understands metal.
i recommend Dreamcatcher from kpop too. They are known for their strong choreography. You could say they have a black concept. And they mix metal and kpop together, or there's only metal there idk, i know there's metal in their songs. For starters, I recommend ... "Scream" and "Boca" is the second part :)
I have been trying to figure out why a rock and metal guy like me likes this Kpop stuff and it hit me today: it’s the present future. By that I mean, if someone from the future travelled back in time to 20 or 30 years ago and told me this is the music people would listen to in the year 2020 and played me a sample of BlackPink, K/DA or BTS, I would totally get it. It sounds futuristic to my old school mind. lol
Ah, I see you are a rock and metal guy. So that means you possibly didn't pay much attention to the invention and rapid advancement of electronic music in general. I personally got into techno and such back in the late 80's early 90's. And it WAS the future. The conventional musical instrument will never die out, but we've steadily seen how production technology has honed and shaped it to the point we're at now. Just saying, you can't "perform" this song live. You can do a version of it that it similar to it, but it is physically impossible to make this music without computers. So we've reached that point. Personally, I think it's amazing what can be done "beyond"' the realm of physical instruments. However, we cannot dismiss the bangers of the past. From Mozart to Motorhead. We continue to rock, regardless of how we rock.
@@KhronicD I think you misunderstood my comment. I’m well aware of techno and edm. I know synthesizers and computer generated sounds have been part of pop music for a long time. I’m not really talking about that. I am saying that this music is greater than the sum of its parts. It is clearly influenced by many styles from the past but it has some intangible qualities that make it different to me. I am not a fan of techno or edm. That doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the artistry. But this music, while including techno and edm, is something else. It’s another layer.
@@socalson7492 Ah, yeah I was worried I might come off that way. What you said what exactly what I was trying to convey. This is an example of music that has combined everything we loved of the past and added a little bit of future with the digital animation aspect of it. I meant no disrespect, just didn't know how to convey my message properly.
LVT could cosplay as Evelynn or Kai'sa and 100% sure she'd look like them but her vibe and energy is definitely Ahri and Akali. Basically, LVT is the entire K/DA girls in one body.
I recommend taking a look at Pentakill. Its League of Legends Metal band. I don't listen to metal normally but Pentakills music is what got me slightly into it (though i still don't usually listen to metal)
Want some League of Legends metal? Check out Pentakill, they made two great albums, and a third one in the works. There is only one music video but both albums are available on LoL's official youtube channel ruclips.net/p/PLbAFXJC0J5Gb9hzEYU5buZd4udIuIUheP I'd recommend Mortal Reminder music video (ruclips.net/video/5-mT9D4fdgQ/видео.html), Lightbringer or The Tear of the Goddess for a start, but really all of their songs are awesome.
Please subscribe for more content, thanks!
If you pay attention to the lyrics it describes Evelyn completely. Torturing and staying in the dark

Haha your references, even today the "Kim Possible" haunts me... Kim Petras is a very good artist, I like her voice, it's quite peculiar
