Jake Workman is underrated. He is every bit as talented as Billy strings or anyone else out there. And Russ! Listening to both you guys playing together for the first time is like discovering Reese's cups! Myself, I''ve been liking Reese's cups for years. Another fine job!
Just freakin amazing man. So groovy. Sounds like the H2n if I'm not mistaken, or did you go for the old dog H2? Edit: love how the mic can't handle Goldie's power on that final strum.
Love it, love the set up the close ups really show how great you guys are. It's great to see your finger work at that angle you guys are flying. Keep the videos rolling.
Great video! Nice to have the camera up close on Jake's guitar solo, but it was also nice to see his rhythm playing on the banjo verses. Can't see that anymore. The audio balance sounds good!
Russ, I noticed that you are sporting a Gold Star Banjo. Great Sound there, I really love the sound of my Gold Star GS85. Not quite as pretty but still is a fine instrument. I enjoyed the song, you both are fantastic musicians.
I have a Zoom Q2n that I love as well as a H4n pro. This looks and sounds great to me, really good to get more sound on the guitar and great close up of the picking. Amazing to me how apparently relaxed Jake is able to stay while ripping off that speed.
I think you have it locked bud. You are front and center on lead but I can still hear Jake very clearly. Same when Jake takes the lead and you are backing. I like the camera angles. I can see both hands doing their dazzling work! I do like to see faces for interplay between people though.
Nice Work Russ & Jake. If you're asking for a "what I like best" it'd be really cool to have a Picture in Picture of the non-lead instrument in the corner 😃
Oh man... How did I miss this. This is just so slick. I love it. You and Jake are both on fire on this one. Awsome pickin from both of you. Love the 2 camera shots. Jake is always so quite and never speaks in a video. I think you should do a quick interview of Jake and how he started playing bluegrass guitar. Would love to know more about him. He's got to be one of the best guitarists in the world, and you Russ got to be one of the best banjo pickers in the world. I'm so glad you post these videos, it's an honour to be able to see you guys play, and an inspiration to us all. Keep em comin' 😉👍
Jake is SO clean! Lord have mercy!
Russ, you too brother. You guys are tops.
So clean!
I like it!
Love this format!

Jake is better than Billy in my opinion.

Thanks Russ and Jake. Love this format - you can see speed and precision...And must appreciate it.
It’s great Russ , visual and audio....the best compliment... Tony Rice and Bela Fleck would be proud!
Really like the new setup! Well done.
Man that was some sweet banjo and guitar playing 🥇
As always, smokin hot pickin'. Glad yall take time to show what instruments can do.
Great job guys!
Fabulous!!!!!

Awesome! I slow it down to 50% and have learned a lot about banjo. Thanks Russ!
Outstanding guys! 👍
