Oh I agree "Here we go again..." I loved the 747, having first flown on BA 747 in 1979 (YMX-LHR) and fell in love with it. My older brother signed me up for JJC and I was taken up to the flight deck. At that time, BA had their lounge upstairs and I thought it looked amazing. I wanted to fly 747's with BA but, being profoundly deaf, darn, that kind of scuttled my young ambitions in that respect. Still haven't flown on the 747-400 as the last time I flew to the UK, they had switched to the 777 for YUL-LHR. Flew on Air Canada 747's, one very memorable flight, landing at GLA, I asked for my JJC book (yes, kept it going all these years!) to be signed and lo and behold, the Captain was none other than Jacques "Jack" Desmarais, who wrote the "Ace MacCool" stories (forget the aviation magazine, Canadian Aviation I think, and they were published in a book later). So many fond memories... One of the most aesthetically pleasing and comfortable airliners ever! Thanks for your video compilation
LHR to LAX was my favourite route with BA 747 also with Virgin and never be the same without it. Wonder what aircraft will replace it. Its also the saddest day in aviation history and will never be the same again seeing a BA 747 likewise with Virgin. I flew on many 747s and was the best aircraft I ever went on. So glad I got the opportunity to fly back from Miami last year on BA 747 as I knew it might have been the final opportunity to go on one and it was. RIP B747 400

Bye Beautiful Queen
R.i.p 😢😢😢
Thank you for this vid. Very sad news, indeed. At least the Queen should still rule the skies as a freighter for many years to come. :)
Very nice tribute 👌 So sad that more Queens are going into retirement
