- The Porsche Taycan India Relay was a combined effort by the evo India and Porsche India teams. Our aim was to set a new national record of covering the entire length of the Golden Quadrilateral highway network in a fleet of Porsche Taycans which included all the variants available in India - Taycan, Turbo, Turbo S, Turbo GT, 4S, 4S Cross Turismo. The Golden Quadrilateral is a highway network that connects the cities of Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Delhi forming a quadrilateral shape that improves road connectivity and bolsters India's ever-growing economy. We started our journey from Porsche Center, Mumbai drove south towards Chennai, then Kolkata followed by Delhi and back to Mumbai. We covered a distance of 6021km and reached Mumbai in 100h:43m setting a new record for the fastest electric car relay on India's Golden Quadrilateral.

What is the whole point of this?
We set out to set the quickest time to do a relay run across the Golden Quadrilateral in Porsche Taycans. This was to showcase 1.) the ever improving Indian road network that takes you around the country much faster than ever before, 2.) the network of Porsche India which stretches to different parts of the country, 3.) the efficiency of the Taycans and their capability to do long distance touring in India, 4.) while we switched cars and did not show the charging network on the video, but the sheer logistics to carry something like this out involved a lot of charging of cars in different parts of the country, so the every improving charging infrastructure was another point
