- The World Money Fair is an international bourse of coins. A bourse is where dealers, collectors and the public to buy, sell and trade coins.
In 1970 A. M Beck founded in Muinch the "Organisation of European Coins-Bourses", "Organisation Europäischer Münzen-Börsen" (OEMB) in German. He had the idea to build up a stronger market for the collecting of coins.
Two years later the organisation organized in Basel the 1st international bourse of coins. During the time it was developed to the "World Money Fair". Today more than 40 nations are members of this organisation. In 2006, the bourse is at the 1st time in Berlin. At the start the German Secretary of State Karl Diller presented the new German 2 Euro Coin. It shows the Holstentor of Lübeck.
WOW!! That 1 kg 30th anniversary piece is amazing. I love the Czech Mint Lion, unfortunately I only have a couple of them but they are up there in terms of some of my favourite coins.The hologram Lion is also fantastic. lol! I couldn't show Hungarian mint and a viewer is sad about it. It is not easy to show 33 out of 33 major mints. Back Breaking.
An easy way to solve it, is visiting World Money Fair and so do I. What a pity, that we didn’t meet.
Hhahaha! I had just 1 day or let me say, half a day to be precise. Had meeting appointments plus filming, so I was completely broken-up into pieces by the end of the day.
Oh that three coin '21 proof set, silver, platinum and palladium. One day in my stack my friend.
This year you get a new chance. But 2021 was the first edition.
@@stefanzmoravy4836 I have a special affection for the '21 design. Those coins are a long term dream, maybe not a medium term goal per se. We'll see, the price of palladium has mega dropped. But Czech Mint seems to like their premiums don't they, so I don't see any price reductions on the '24 set.
