Colt, just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you! I finished your web dev course on udemy, and three months ago I got a job as a developer at a local company. Thank you very much for sharing that ammount of knowledge.
@@aakashkathait8328 That is correct, big takeaway for me was I am good at both. But costed me much more time. I learned functional components later. But if I were you, I would start a course that focuses on functional components more. My suggestion would be Maximillian Schawrzmuller's React course. Also keep in mind that, when you start working, the codebase will have lots of class based components as well.
Thank you for all that you do. You were simply the best teacher I’ve ever had! To make the story short, I am now working as a junior software developer, working on mid-size e-commerce, blockchain, and some open-source project. Thank you Colt Steele!
He is one of the rarest person you will ever see in your life. We are lucky to witness such a wonderful man with such a great temperament and immense knowledge that he delivers so smoothly.
I have been teaching myself MERN and Python since October 2021 and am currently working on strengthening my portfolio with a few full-stack applications. I should be ready to start the arduous application process come May, but these videos help me prepare for the road ahead. Thank you Colt and Julia!
It really is a tough decision to shift a career into a software engineer or a web developer. It takes lots of hard work, self-motivation and patience. Congrats to Julia and thanks a lot to Colt Steele. I have been joining his courses on Udemy. Currently I am still half way through the web developer bootcamp 2022.
Hi Colt! Thanks for sharing this and CONGRATULATIONS JULIA!! Colt, I joined another bootcamp that ended up being a complete disaster. I am now taking your Udemy Web Development Bootcamp and cannot wait to jump into a new career!! Thank you SO MUCH for being such a fantastic teacher for a BEGINNER with absolutely zero prior knowledge - that's the most important part. I really appreciate it. You do a great job of explaining things to someone who doesn't know anything about the development world.
Appreciate you posting a female success story. Not many people do this. And another huge congrats to Julia for the awesome job (and big spike in salary) ! Definitely well deserved.
To anybody reading this, colt is the real deal 🤝 I took his Udemy courses two years ago (web dev boot camp + ds & algo) and have been working as a full stack developer since. Thanks for making the intro to software a smooth one Colt!!
Did you mostly just take those courses? I'm a month into Colt's web dev course and I'm wondering what I'll have to do/learn afterwards to get a job in web development.
@@AceofOblivionX courses are great but to get a job you need hard proof that you know what you're doing. Use what you learn in the courses to build projects and a portfolio site. A CRUD application with authentication and authorization is an excellent place to start.
Just wanted to say, that the error handling section of your Fullstack web developer was really excellent, and brought a lot of things together, that hadn't quite sunk in before.
Definitely you can see she put in alot of hard work, well I can't afford a bootcamp, but colt's courses on udemy is good enough for me, especially the one week python one with no fluffy and well explained content and exercises.
Colt you're a legend I don't know why the hell you're not famous on all socials you are the reason why I love programming Stay safe and how's the chickens ??
Congratulations Julia and Colt for sharing this inspirational video, for sure that's what i really needed to hear . Colt we a web3 course...is this posssible? Thanks
wonderful video and truly inspiring. I have taken linux course of yours and it was great. I just started with podcast creation for anyone who needs to start podcasting! Lemme know , thanks
I struggled beyond junior development level so now I’m just trying to find junior web development jobs or an apprenticeship. I had six full stack development jobs over a decade and every one was unfair dismissed. So now I’m trying to get on an apprenticeship or traineeship. I already have an HND and two MCP accreditations. I love Udemy courses and go through Angular and MEAN over and over until it all sinks in!
Hi Colt, I've finished your 'Web Dev Bootcamp' course on Udemy recently, I learned everything about the web that I know now from your course. Your method of combining demonstration & explanation with speed is simply excellent. Honestly, you're the second-best teacher I've ever had!!! I just started your 'Modern React' course on the Udemy, but I have realised it hasn't been updated for a while. Do you have any plan to update your 'Modern React' course soon?
