Yes and no. Depends on who been maintaining that truck. If they charging you more than it’s supposed to cost to fix simple shit most drivers won’t tell them or complain about things.

Super ego super crooks they called me for 4 weeks straight wanting me to lease from them I told them no they wouldn't take no for a answer they called me all hours of the day sometimes they would call just to laugh and hang up or say that they was a different company i ask for the dot # and then hang up I had to change my number .
I call them 7 months ago to get some informations about their lease purchase, since that time super ego keep caling me almost once a week they never forgot my phone number
I own my truck and trailer and I’m leased to a small carrier I book my own loads. All trucking companies are NOT SKIMMING OFF THE TOP! They send it to the company then they send it to me and ai tell the company weather or not to sign that rate con.

I know me, I'm wanting to start my own Authority but you need a truck and trailer. So that way I don't have to use a company as a middle man for trailers. There's not alot of options to get a trailer unless you get a loan or something. So Supper Eagle makes it an opportunity. I truly think people look at Super Ego as a Lease Purchase but it's not. It's ran as a Owner Operator so all the expenses and etc is yours just as if you own your truck and trailer. Too many people go into it with a Company and Lease Purchase mindset then get disappointed when things don't work out. There's good and bad with every trucking company.

Been researching super ego for 2 weeks. I do not work fir them. Any info I have come from drivers. Mainly what I've found is drivers who don't know wtf they talking about or angry drivers who are lying. Ive saw numerous settlements of drivers who claim they were getting paid $1.30 and cheap freight. It dont take a genius to do the math. They were all making $2.13 + after ego takes 12%.. the average for dry van is $2.28... ive seen settlements where drivers had 3000 miles, and spend over $3400 in fuel, why? Probably idling and drivers can't stay away from pilots and loves where fuel is $4.75 when they could go to Thorntons and get it for $3.28. Smh. Most drivers don't understand the difference in a lease purchase and actually being an owner operator. They're not the same and you can't expect to make the same. I saw one guy that kept taking good paying loads to Florida, but coming out he was barely paying for fuel then blaming super ego. For what? Experienced drivers know to stay away from Florida and not bite that bait. The ELD stuff is bullshit... eld programs keep a record of ALL logs for auditing purposes. They can't just go in and add 30 hours to your eld. Not possible. Yes they can remove wasted time like sitting loading for 4 hours and change it to off duty and gain you a few hours here and there but they still have to list reasons why the logs was edited because the OLD LOG still exist for them to compare too. I know cause I worked in safety for a little while. DOT requires companies to use approved eld programs that meet their standards . If they're not on the list they can't be used. And they remove them from the list daily.

Let me help you from an experienced driver standpoint lease purchase is a scam no matter who you do it for just build your credit and buy one yourself and do power only
I think we should reach out to fmcsa and tell them super ego is editing / falsifying logs. They think they're slick until they get audited. Fmcsa will compare logs to loads to other accounting records.

There's to many of them. Now if you have some proof of this, then you'd need to report it to a higher level (I don't know what it is) From my understanding from a video asain mai did... They're only required to do a handful of audits each year but if a company is reported for unsafe or illegal practices they're moved to the front of the line pretty much... Express lane to audit town. Getting a passing score on one is like gold to trucking companies because shippers and brokers prefer them. Wouldn't hurt if we at least tried. At least then we can say we made an effort to stop them as opposed to sitting there and taking it up the rear without lube.

Brother you dont have to accept an order from your dispatcher if u dont like the rate. There is no force dispatch. U can do your due diligence and cros check rate cons from your sources. Secondly how u gonna become an owner operator if u cannot handle a lease to own? 3rd. The guy in here AGREED to put 3k down lol. Its how the structure of the game is. New trucks are 5k, lightly used trucks are 3k and older trucks are 0 down. Dont seem to be rocket science to me.
You do realize the scam behind “no forced dispatch”? They’ll just say that’s all they have or have you sitting forever. They are scammers, it’s that simple. Talk about rocket science though..

The fact is. Everyone is on board with SuperEgo fixing logs. When you start with them it’s a known fact. They give you 2 fuel cards. During the pandemic I made so much money. I got a brand new truck and I was able to run my loads off the load board. This driver is clueless. You have to pay for the truck, trailer, and other expenses that come with being an owner operator. One thing they didn’t do was take out for maintenance but it’s all upfront. He knew that maintenance wasn’t coming out because they give you a statement every week. Also I talk with the brokers every time I book a load. I would search the load board screen shot the load to my dispatcher and they would call and try to negotiate the rate higher. I will say Super Ego is made of 10 or more sub companies so I wasn’t with super ego I was with Time logistics and unfortunately they just close.
