In this video, Raquel Medina discusses a new Earth Modeling tool whereby users can build 3D resistivity distributions in a stratigraphic grid based on nearby well log data. The video shows an example workflow of resistivity modeling and how the 3D resistivity distribution can be transferred to a regular grid and then exported using different export formats. These regular 3D grids can be used in inversion algorithms to predict the likely response of imaging logs, such as UDAR, under different structural scenarios, water contact positions and other conditions affecting the resistivity responses.
