The grass in the fields moves aswell if the explosion is big enough

Fin Yeah, in Battlefield 1 you had to watch out for the windmilling biplane corpses. But in Battlefield 3 and 4, you really had to watch out for crashing planes, the burnt body of the plane would fucking fly right above the ground and you would get absolutely flattened if you weren’t paying attention. Those days you had to fear crashing planes, it just became comical in Battlefield 1.

I miss the times where everyone could experience a new game together and not be spoilt on every single thing before other players are able to experience it themselves.
Yeah take need for speed most wanted for an example, everyone bought it they had fun and they said best need for speed ever made, that time when there wasn't any gaming community back then, now the gaming community is shit they either say the company whos making the game is shit or the game it self is shit.

The maps in BFV are much more visually appealing compared to battlefield 1 in my personal opinion
BF1 to me had a better suited artstyle for the setting tho. both beautiful games
Well, yeah. It has better graphics because it's a newer game, but I prefer the more dark and gritty feel of Battlefield 1 compared to the sunny and glossy feel of Battlefield V.

Light factor wasn't as big of a deal in bf1 or 4 but this makes me wanna camp in the shadows so I can see something without loses track of it

All the new mechanics are really good. It’s kinda stupid but one of my favorite things is how you throw things farther. Never could get kills on bf1 with dynamite because you threw them 1 foot infront of you.

Great video Jack! Keep it up! The unedited commentary really shows ppl how the game plays and that it's not just a Bf1 carbon copy. I played the alpha and beta, and can safely say that the returned gun mechanics alone have sold it for me.

Edit: I’m referring to the fact that it’s almost certainly effecting the amount of people buying the game. So I don’t want to buy it if not many people play it after 6 months. I’d rather play BF4 or 1.

Just as weird as getting a needle into your arm and then being completely healthy again after you got shot 3 times :P
Gets run over by a tank that weighs about 20-30 tons then a guy comes along flips the dead body then lifts him and magically comes back to life.
Congrats dice on all these improvements, authenticity increased, and gameplay improved according to what the community wanted. Hands down I'm going to get this game at Christmas, I deserve it and so does dice.
I started playing few months ago. There's something about this map which keeps me indulged, absolutely love it! I have always scored good on this map. Jack, I searched for this video of yours.. Cheers!

This game actually looks really fun. Despite the crappy beta maps and general apathy from the community I think I'll have to pick this up. Also I'm glad they brought back some of the sweating. The beta barely had any callouts (than again most of the team audio was broken) and I really miss that atmosphere from BF3.

Yea I was definitely a critic on this game but I can confirm from my playtime that it's actually really good. Only big issues I see so far are some map balance on narvik and STG being too strong. Other than those it plays similar to BF3 and BF4

Using the Tractor should be a future Easter Egg lol … this map looks so realistic with lots of detail just like a proper battlefield though it does seem to still have a COD feel to it on the gameplay. Nice Vid!

The handful of times I have played this map I will have to agree it is one of the best, Good amount of cover, Just enough area with buildings. It has everything you need for a conquest map.
Dice really nailed it with Arras. It is so gorgeous, and the gameplay in the was awesome asf.

Played the 10 hour trial and think it's turned out to be a brilliant game..surprised as I didn't really enjoy the alpha/beta. I am now annoyed I have to wait until the 20th to continue playing! Great video btw :)

Its good to see positive comments on a battlefield video because i’ve watched a lot of video of bf5 recently and theyre all filled with hate some being very irrelevant because theyve not even tried. Ive played around 4 hours of bf5 and in my opinion it has its moments where the games flow is dead but that happens in every game but theres some moments where you genuinely feel like youre in war and running together with a squad feels so genuine. Cant wait for tides of war

I believe WW2 is fading out and the next game will probably be modern, there’s a possibility of Vietnam, but I personally hope it’s more Middle East themed and modern.

The part of the map shown at around 13:10 reminds me a lot of the scene in Saving Private Ryan where they see a half-track and drop to cover in the field with the yellow flowers (where they find the recon team and Ryan). Really loving this map.

Simon V it’s not necessarily the schedule, this isn’t the first game to release the game early to certain people. What’s stupid is the fact you get it earlier by paying more and the early period is weeks before the standard edition launch. A few days early has been done before and was fine for only preorders but this is taking a little over the top.

Don’t know if you noticed, but the wilderness, with the trees, dense bushes provide so much good cover and so much to the map it’s exactly what I wanted

@@theaces3697 Same! I loved BF3 and I think this game has lots of BF3 in it. I played 26 levels in the Beta alone which was always the same mode on the same 2 maps that are now regarded as two ofter the weaker ones in the full game. Wonder how Rush will work out when it launches in January-February, because this was my go-to mode in BF3.
