Removing Spotting was the best thing to ever happen to the BF franchise. A lot of these sick moments Jack had in this game wouldn't have even happened if spotting was in the game.

Same. When i played BF1 it felt like i was spotted 24/7. people would reverse flick me in the head consistently even if i sneaked up, made the game almost unplayable. Since Australian servers are populated with the most cautious, paranoid tryhards ever it didn't help matters

I really had no hopes for this game. Bought the $20 Origin Access, downloaded BF5, and am loving it. The gun play is heads and shoulders above BF1.
thesynergy2 while maintaining the cinematic feel from BF1. It might not be authentic but it is an incredibly immersive game.
The game looks really good and bf1 was fun for awhile but I got burnt out on it very quickly

I think at 2:32 it was the lamp above your head reflecting in your sight you can probably thank raytracing for that

I know its a stretch but, could DICE implement a tactical exit vehicle option? Like slowly walking out with the door as cover and your gun out?
Doubt they'd bother but the alternative already exists and always has done. You turn the vehicle and exit with the vehicle between you and target

You can actually find it out. Watch where the V1 is coming from. If its coming from your base direction it's a friendly one, an enemy v1 comes from their base. Hope I could help

Man I am so excited for this game!!! Ever since I’ve played battlefield 1 as my first battlefield game I just absolutely loved it and started purchasing the previous games. Battlefield tops call of duty in my opinion.

Its a huge improvement from bf 1 and the horrible beta. Gameplay is actually a blast
This game really looks great as opposed to gameplay trailer. I'm so hyped that I'm saving to build a completely new PC just to play that on High or Ultra. BF1 wasn't that great and BF4 while is good as infantry what I hated the most was tank - heli kids murdering everyone. This game looks free of this problem!

The game on ultra undoubtedly looks beautiful. But if you wanna do good you put everything on low for minimum latency.

What is this revive you speak of? Never heard of it cause no one does it.
When you’re down and safe from enemy fire but your squadmate just walks over you anyway..
Trust me, we try. Sometimes it's just hard to get to you without getting slaughtered, and the revive timer is sometimes not long enough for us to reach you when we also have to clear the enemies you died to. We'll try harder- just don't skip on us - unless you think it's a fight we can't win.
As a medic main myself, i really have no explanation for the actions of my fellow medics these days. I honestly do not know what they are thinking half the time.

It's weird. BF5 doesn't feel like it's in WWII. In BF 1942 and so on I really had the WWII feeling. But here. I dunno. It doesn't feel like it.
What exactly is a "WW2 feeling"? Is it the desaturated SPR look? The ping of an M1 Garand? A sherman? What's this mysterious feel that BF5 isn't catching?

It’s feels like you’re in a big fight. I haven’t been in a game where it didn’t feel like a battle was raging but I understand what you mean by that battle not necessarily being a WW2 one. It’s not the women or anything, after a few hours you barely notice them... but there is just something about it.

How about a video, later, on useful tactics? Stuff like:
- equipping yourself full of smoke grenades and the like on Medic and how to figure out good places to drop a smoke, aside from the obvious of covering a revive
- using Support's gratuitous amount of ammo to intelligently suppress enemy positions
- if you find your team losing, try pairing up with someone as a Medic/Support duo to increase the might of your team rather than trying to turn the battle as a solo scout or assault
- learning how to improve by identifying when the enemy uses a class or weapon very effectively against you. ie: don't get mad at being outplayed. recognize a skilled play and learn from it.
- using cover to grant you protection while you're mobile, to protect your flank when you have to focus your attention on the flank, that cover can't you when you're too far from it and overexposing yourself, etc etc
There was a time when I thought I understood the upset regarding female characters in the game.
Now i can’t understand the quarrel at all. My girlfriend, and my friends wife, play games with us all the time. They’re communication and emotes during gameplay don’t break my immersion. If I’m already listening to my female friend in discord screaming and communicating, why cant they have an in-game representative too?
Maybe these guys have never played games with women, or maybe they think women shouldn’t play the game at all?
They jerk off to the idea of historical accuracy and "respect to history" and other nonsense even though there is nothing respectful about turning the most horrid war in history into a fun game where you shoot other human beings dead. Most of them are also probably shut-ins who don't have normal interactions with people.
Alon Shechter there's a difference between a realistic game and a realistic setting. Seeing women in a ww2 game is like seeing a clown in counter strike
