100% the strawhat is a tribute to luffy from one piece. love to see it! i also think the skates and frames are beautiful. i love the gold accents on black skates!
An uncharacteristic miss in your reporting here Butch. In your Diako profile, you didn't mention that he's one of only a few rollerbladers who's been able to make a consistent living through rollerblading, by being part of the very successful Cirque du Soleil show LOVE (which I've seen 4 or 5 times). You pointed out he makes an impression on the broader world through competitions / park skating, but clearly his biggest contribution is by skating in LOVE. I'm not sure why we as a community don't reference that more, it's almost like we're ashamed of being in the mainstream?
I wasn't aware that Diako was performing regularly with Cirque. I knew he had done a few shows and was on an America's Got Talent spin off, but I thought he was just filling-in for someone. Either way, you raise an excellent point!
@@RollMinnesota You could be right. He's posted from behind the scenes of the show from time to time. I'm sure I looked up that he had joined the cast at some point but I can't find the reference now.
the main reason why blade die in the early 2000,s its simply because its fucking easy just like scooter and soap shoes you have 3 base trick and 10 variation. a 15 yo can be this good in a summer or 2. i literally land backflip on a skyjump my first time wearing blade so i hope hes good after more than 15 years useless ''sport'' see you at Xgame LMAO
Diako is one of the nicest guys on the scene.
And he's skating to an insane level.
Well deserved pro model

I have no idea if you’re pronouncing his name right but I’m also 100% sure you’re not pronouncing his name right.
