Man I've turned into such a baby during all these Tour De Nerdfighting videos. Probably because I've been watching all of them starting from the beginning and watched you go from not knowing what you were doing at all and just wanting to refresh your brotherhood to this. The magnitude of what you've created is hitting me hard.

I got my TFIOS today and after I finished class, I went to my school library sat down, read it in 3-hours and realised I was sitting in a public place with blinking away tears and utterly not embarassed by this fact when I normally would be. And that is some of the highest praise I could give an author :)
This make me so happy. I'm so proud of everything you guys have become and what you stand for. Thank you.

Oh gosh John... I just read your book and it was the most amazing thing I have ever laid my eyes upon. With my yetified copy in hand, I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
You know guys, I think you're an inspiration to so many people. If the world were more like you, it would be a much better place.
I also wish you were around in the 70s & 80s when I grew up to prove to me it was okay to be a nerd. I'm 44 now and realize all the pressures and crap I thought was important really wasn't and am glad to see you proving to generations today it's okay to be who you are.

This almost made me cry! I'm so proud of both of you!!
I just want to say that watching your videos, hearing you speak, coupled with the intelligence of the comments coming from those in nerdfighteria, I am often taken aback with the amount of awesome that is within this community. Its actually kind of intimidating (in a good way?) But as cliche as this sounds, it really gives me hope in humanity. So thank you John and Hank and Nerdfighters. You fill me with childlike joy. Christmas morning, cool side of the pillow, frivolous joy.
I just finished tfios. Truthfully, it was the greatest thing I have ever read. John's books make me think so much about everything. I laughed, I smiled, I cried (believe me, I did a lot of that), but most of all, I was opened to a completely different way of looking at things. My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations, and I owe that to you, John.

I was at the show in Birmingham last night, and it was one of the best nights of my life. Thank you guys for being awesome. Even if I live to be one hundred, I'll never forget the nerdfighters or my involvement in this amazing group. I can only hope that there will be a Tour de Nerdfighting 2013!

John, remember that you didn't just luck into all this praise and love. You earned it with fantastic writing, and wonderful, genuine videos that many of us have been watching since back when everything on youtube was 240p. I know that there is luck involved, but give yourself some credit! I know of all people, we are in no danger of you becoming full of yourself. Regards, and enjoy the rest of the tour.

I'll see you guys on Saturday! I'm so EXCITED. I know all the crazy fans are probably terrifying to you guys, but we love you and this is how we show it. I can't wait to actually meet you guys even if its only for a split second among the teaming sea of faces. You guys have created something so wonderful and are an inspiration to so many nerds. And that is why we where your faces on our chests and jump up and down at the mere thought of getting to be in the same room as you.
So I read The Fault in Our stars in Day, and I have to say John: You have grown so much as a writer it astonishes me. I have never met you two face to face, but these videos make me feel like I really know you, and that there is a place were I will be welcomed no matter who I am, and I know I am not alone in feeling this. So I want to say Hank and John: The pleasure is all ours.
This makes me smile :)
You are blessed. And it seems there are many others whose lives are blessed for knowing you.

So yesterday I started (and finnished) TFioS and I couldn't help but notice that for someone who was so terrified of spoilers leaking about your book, you sure did put a lot IN your book.
Apart from that I think it is an absolutely beautiful story and I openly admit to crying on more than one occasion. I even choked up a bit at the mention of nerdfighters in the acknowledgements. Somehow seeing that made Nerdfighteria a real, tangible thing.

i remember being devastated that i was not allowed to go to this but it was SO HARD to convince my parents that like, Online was a real place that influenced my life
I saw you guys in New York City. The show was so awesome, one of the best nights ever. I went with my friend who had never seen a vlogbrothers video before and even she loved it. Everyone sitting around us acted like they knew us except obviously they didnt, but because we were all nerdfighters it is like we did know each other. When we were outside we took a picture by the van and the YETI was right there taking her own picture as well. She's a lot less hairy than I thought she would be.SOCOOL!
Got the book today. Im already loving it. Very warm yet sharp
You guys are awesome! I swear, when I get done with all this homework, I will read the crap out of this signed book that has just been teasing me.
Seeing Hank and John in Austin so much to me. What a great way to begin the year. Sadly, my dumb body wouldn't allow me to stand in line to tell them just that but that's okay, I was so happy to be there that I cried big fat happy tears. Hello to all of the wonderful nerdfighters I met in Austin!!!

Just got back from the Birmingham one.
It was sooo amazing! A was trembling when I met them. It was so lovely.
Seeing that much awesome in one room and walking out on that stage from your perspective felt.. huge. Seriously, maybe I'm too sentimental, but the roar of nerdfighteria moved me to tears. Maybe it's residual over-emotionalness from TFioS. I'm so glad to be a part of this thing.
I get to see them in Dallas next week. Words cannot express my excitement.

Oh my God, John Green. I just finished reading TFIOS, and I loved it for so many reasons! Not only did it make me laugh and cry and feel things all good novels should, but I fell in love with Hazel. She was so great. She was awesome, but not so awesome that she wasn't real. Thank you so much for writing this book!

I just read TFiOS. It was my first of your books. I know you probably won't ever read this but it was one of the best books I have ever read. I laughed and cried (for literally two hours). It was really touching. Thank you

I don't know how to explain how much I enjoyed reading TFIOS. It was everything I hoped for and more, and even though Hazel and Augustus are so much younger than me, and have gone trough so much and are going through so much (I know they are fictional, but roll with me here) I understand them and I want them to be together forever.
You made me cry (once again) and thank you for that.

It's astonishing that what started out as an alternative means for brothers in other states to contact each other, grew over the course of five years into a platform for a dynamic duo to entertain the milllions and millions of nerdfighters that idolize them. (I realize that the previous sentence is an egregiously long run-on sentence, but it seemed unjust to make two sentences out of it. You guys are awesome.

I just finished reading TFIOS, which because of silly shipping only arrived today. I of course finished it in one sitting. John, you are by far my favorite author but I was amazed by how awesome (I was literally in awe after reading) this book and it's characters are.
I would like to thank you for giving us Nerdfighters such amazing books.
John, your thoughts from places videos always astound me with their poetry. I guess I should expect this from a professional author, but every time I watch one the little literature major inside of me goes, "Those words were beautiful put together that way!" Best wishes!

Wow. I can only try to imagine how you feel as you walk onto stage and have so many people scream in happiness and joy at the mere sight of your face. I wish I could be in one of those crowds, but alas I live in Utah and you seem to like avoiding our beautiful Beehive State.

I just picked up my copy of TFiOS from Third Place Books (near Seattle, Wa) and my ticket for the SOLD OUT event, and I am jumping up and down with so much excitement that people are staring at me like I'm crazy. I am over the moon with excitement to meet the two men that have highly influenced my life.
I SO want to be at one of your shows!! It looks completely awesome. You need to come to NY sometime. And you're right that writing something in private and them showing it to people and exposing yourself in person rather than through pages is very overwhelming.

I went to the Boston signing at the very beginning of the tour and it was fantastic! It was even worth the 4 hours of waiting in line because at least I got to read TFiOS which is easily one of the best books I've every encountered. I'm so glad Nerdfighteria is a thing that exists.

I must say that this channel, and this community has restored a lot of the faith I had before lost in humanity, and it's great to see so many people doing awesome things. It's just so incredibly jokes!
The Fault in Our Stars is perfect, one of the best books I've ever read. I wish I could have met you in Boston to say how much the book meant to me but I had to leave before I could, I was actually only 30 people away in line. Anyways, that doesn't matter. This book made me laugh and cry and be angry and had the most satisfying endings. As someone who had to deal with medical crap, this book means so much and the unfairness of it all but how we still have lives. Thank you John, truly thank you.
